What he really means is that while he will send his own children to private school, he wants you to let him be the controller that he is. He is beholden to the worst of society, from the teacher’s union to Mandy Cohen, who helped to roll out Obama’s failed, communist health care plan.
She has helped Cooper keep N.C. on the worst lockdown of any state in America, and destroyed businesses that will never come back. The only reason some will survive is that they’ve eventually forced his hand and refuse to stay closed any more. Gyms, which are nearing bankruptcy, finally decided to open regardless of Cooper’s orders.
Cooper is aligned with the worst, most corrupt, most despicable people on earth, willing to harm families and destroy wealth to make political points and amass more power.
He wants to level the field, even if it makes your children dumber and less able to compete. He must drag the less willing to learn, more troubled children up to the level of your children, which really means dragging your children down to their level.

I’m admit that I’m skeptical of school voucher programs. When colleges take federal student aid money, they also accept federal interference in how they do things. Private schools are only better because they can make their own decisions about curriculum and can freely reject students who aren’t serious about learning and behaving themselves. With government money comes government control. What I think would help is abolishing compulsory attendance laws as a fist step in rolling back Horace Mann’s destruction of true education..

One key reason the powers-that-be devote so much time, money and effort to their educational and media arms and their messaging, is that they are desperate to keep the people from learning that they aren’t alone when it comes to saving traditional America. That’s one of their prime directives in the Marxist media-entertainment complex, is to keep ordinary traditional Americans dispirited, isolated and alone. The communists know full-well that if those people bond together and begin acting in concert, just as the left has done for years, then the rules and outcome of the game will be certainly be changed, and probably not in their favor.
The other key piece of this debate is that even if they were not indoctrinating our young people into communism, there is still the matter of how ineffective and costly public schools in this country have become.
If our children were being well-educated and genuinely prepared to live as adults in the modern world, then maybe -maybe – the enormous cost and other drawbacks of the present system could be rationalized. However, we don’t have that kind of arrangement, and the present educational system is an epic failure, as well as a black hole into which vast sums of taxpayer’s money disappears, never to be seen again.

Now we’re surrounded by like-minded people and our kids get the one other person (besides themselves) that cares enough about their education. Teachers don’t have to care after the kid is gone from their class…that’s why they “graduate” problem kids…the problem goes away.

I started and ran a small school at our church. We never had more than 25 students in k-8. Our tuition was $1200/year plus books and uniforms. It was a fraction of what the public schools were receiving (6,000/yr. in 1994). The students excelled and behaved, but our school never grew. They weren’t designed to teach us to think. Read “The Underground History of American Education” by John Taylor Gatto. He believed that our schools were designed to establish a caste system in the United States. I believe they have succeeded!

I’d also point out that the Covid scare, causing kids to be out of school for more than half a year now, puts them further behind India, China, Japan and Korea for math and physics.
They won’t be able to compete in the future. STEM will be done overseas, and at most, people here will be HR staff, PMs and helpers.

Meanwhile we have been in lockdown until last week. Now you can go to a park or beach, but only single persons. You can’t take your kid. I grew up in the segregated South and from what I remember schools were very good. Teachers were qualified, dedicated and put up with absolutely no shit from anyone. We would participate in a bit of assholery and that would secure us a date with the Dean of Men’s paddle on Friday afternoon. Actual trades were taught and encouraged. Common core(communist core) is nothing more than a subversive plot to ruin our children. And it is working!
