Antifa/BLM Tactics And The Corollary Future Bloodshed

BY Herschel Smith

Michael Yon has told me that he is heading back to the states from Thailand to help cover current events.  This is good, as Michael will no doubt be boots on the ground.  He will get first hand pictures, video and reports of what is happening in Portland, Seattle, Austin, and the other hell holes in America.

Andy Ngo is about the only reporter who is providing accurate, good, informative and honest reporting of Antifa and BLM.  The tactics in use by Antifa/BLM are more well-rehearsed than just several years ago, including better communications, leadership, the use of green light lasers (I have thoughts on amelioration of that threat), the use of hammers and baseball bats, breaking windows, blocking roadways and means of egress, boxing in and attacking cars, and on the list could go.

The newly elected Portland DA is aligned with Antifa, and said so himself.  The Portland and Seattle city councils and mayors are aligned with Antifa/BLM, as is the case in Austin.  The politicians (and by extension, the police) are protecting Antifa.  The squad of communists in the House is calling for unrest in the streets.

To a large degree, they have been protected and coddled.  Andy Ngo points out that as soon as charged by police, the Antifa crowds evaporate (see also this post).  Several misguided Antifa folks thought they would crash the biker rally at Sturgis.  This was a mistake, and were it not for the police, those folks might have been killed.

This protection and coddling will redound to much difficulty and perhaps bloodshed in the coming days.  As Antifa presses out into the suburbs of America, bringing their tactics with them of busting windows, burning houses, threatening women and children, millions of homeowners with firearms will return the threat in kind.

By protecting, encouraging and coddling Antifa/BLM at the present rather than shutting it down, the pols are simply ensuring the coming bloodshed.  Maybe that’s what they want to see.

For quite some time now, billionaire George Soros has endeavored, via his so-called Secretary of States project, to place sympathizers to his cause in that state office, such that when electoral “disputes” occur, they will be ruled upon by officials de facto owned by him. It is less-known but equally true that Soros has also successfully-maneuvered to place sympathetic personnel in district attorney’s offices around the nation.

Having compliant/sympathetic personnel in place is a key component of the color revolution plan currently being rolled out. It is no accident that Antifa-BLM-RevCom actions are first taking place in leftist strongholds like Seattle, Portland and Minneapolis-St. Paul. The communists are in effect field-testing their plans, tactics and methods for effectiveness, under the protective umbrella of sympathetic local governments.

Seeing all of this unfold is mind-boggling in the sense that it wasn’t all that many years ago that fomenting revolt and civil unrest was considered a serious crime in the United States of America. Sedition, treason, conspiracy to commit violence, assault with intent to commit bodily-harm, manslaughter, arson, robbery, burglary, and other crimes too numerous to list – come to mind.

In the “old” America, the individuals committing these crimes, as well as those who have planned and funded them, would be in very hot water indeed. Yet, here we are and if there are any charges pending against these individuals anywhere, in any state or municipality, I certainly haven’t heard of it. Just one more proof that the rule of law is dead and buried in an unmarked grave – and has been for some time now.

It appears that the late Sam Francis was quite prescient when he coined the term “anarcho-tyranny” to describe 21st-century America.

(The following is from Michelle Malkin, CNSNews, “One Nation Under Anarcho-Tyranny” 22 July 2020)

“It’s not “socialism” or “communism” under which we suffer. Our dangerously chaotic, selectively oppressive predicament is more accurately described as “anarcho-tyranny.” The late conservative columnist Sam Francis first coined the term in 1992 to diagnose a condition of “both anarchy (the failure of the state to enforce the laws) and, at the same time, tyranny — the enforcement of laws by the state for oppressive purposes.”

The “criminalization of the law-abiding and innocent,” Francis expounded, is achieved in such a state through: “exorbitant taxation, bureaucratic regulation; the invasion of privacy, and the engineering of social institutions, such as the family and local schools; the imposition of thought control through ‘sensitivity training’ and multiculturalist curricula; ‘hate crime’ laws; gun-control laws that punish or disarm otherwise law-abiding citizens but have no impact on violent criminals who get guns illegally; and a vast labyrinth of other measures.”

Anarcho-tyranny is how hoodlums can toss statues into rivers with impunity, while citizens disgusted by Black Lives Matter street graffiti are charged with “hate crimes” — as David Nelson and Nicole Anderson in Martinez, Calif. were by a George Soros-funded district attorney two weeks ago.

Anarcho-tyranny is how rioters can shut down highways and byways on a whim without fear of arrest, while commuters trying to escape the window-smashing barbarians obstructing traffic are charged with “assault” — as poor Jennifer Watson of Denver, Colo. was this week.

Anarcho-tyranny is how hordes of gay pride activists marching shoulder to shoulder can defy social distancing guidelines with gushing approbation from radical left-wing medical “experts,” while anti-lockdown and anti-mask mandate protesters are deemed public health menaces who now face snitch hotlines, fines, house arrest, or jail time.

Anarcho-tyranny is how 1,000 black militia members can take over the streets in Georgia and point their guns at motorists as they demand reparations, while white citizen militia members in Idaho, Utah, and New Mexico have been smeared publicly as racists and face injunctions for peacefully defending their neighborhoods.

Where do the police stand in this regime? It pains me to say it, but those of us who have backed the blue so loyally and vocally can no longer do so under the assumption that the blue will back us.”

On one hand, it is good news that Michael Yon is headed back to the U.S. to begin covering events stateside. He’s a good man, solid instincts and knows a good story when he sees it. A throw-back to when reporters actually earned their pay. On the other hand, however, Yon’s arrival is a portent of bad things to come: he’s a specialist in covering war and asymmetric conflict.

The pols want to see blood in the streets as long as it’s not theirs. Are we approaching the tripwire, the Rubicon of violence that once crossed will unleash the whole can of whup-ass on the communists? Who knows? In fact who knows if the majority of Americans even care about life, liberty and property anymore. I look at my lovely grandchildren, 8 and 9, and wonder if they even have a future in this country. I’m beginning to think that they don’t and I can only blame myself for not actively fighting the communists in the 60s and 70s when they really got cranked up.

Their methods of choice are good will, cooperation, forbearance, negotiation and finally, appeasement, roughly in that order. Only when these fail to end the abuse do they revert to blowback. And they do so irretrievably. Once the course is set and the outcome defined, doubt is put aside. The middle class is known, condemned actually, for carrying out violence with the efficiency of an industrial project where bloody destruction at any scale is not only in play, it’s a metric. Remorse is left for the next generation, they’ll have the leisure for it. We’d like to believe this is merely dark speculation. History says it isn’t.”

The more ruthless, the more damage, the more natural leadership ability plus daring the higher in rank they go. They are, in actuality field-testing and making leaders. So…. The post discusses the rioters tactics. As usual the comments reflect our distain for these communist insurrectionists. That is good if you’re just looking to blow off steam or preach to the choir. A more helpful discussion would be practical counters to their aggression. ‘If they try to blind me with a laser, that is an attempt to cause great bodily harm, so I’ll just shoot them’, (while legally valid in my opinion) is not a helpful, or reasonable response. While shooting some idiot who is trying to blind you may be a satisfying response, what about the 1-2-3 people behind him that your 5.56 round hits due to over penetration? (Don’t give me that ‘they’re rioting too so it is justified’ BS. A court of law, and for sure the communist dominated media, will not see it that way and once you are thrown in jail who will defend your family?
No, what would be helpful here is some rational, thoughtful ideas, a brainstorming session if you will, about how to counter these idiots when they come into your neighborhood (they are now moving into the suburbs)… Something effective that will turn back the threat but not give the opposition a moral victory and land you in jail.
Herschel maybe you could even do a post posing this question…
Good solid tactics to counter a real threat has value; bluff and bluster do not.

What I was trying to say is things written in the comments sections that say in effect ‘kill em all and let God sort them out’ is what is not helpful….
I’m a fairly intelligent guy but don’t have all the answers. My request was more for people smarter than me to give some ideas as to what can be done to counter some of these tactics. My ideas are limited to my dobermans and bear spray but I don’t believe that will be enough….
I apologize for not being clearer. I guess it was a bumbling attempt to solicit other ideas…

If you’re worried about over penetration and killing innocents, I don’t believe that’s the way the law looks at mob violence. You are indeed defending yourself from the mob. One of the arguments that helped overturn California’s 10 round mag law was defending ones self from the mob. Most states penal codes interpret self defense from a mob this way.
Ironically one of the new Trump appointed justices on the 9th is a Korean guy by the name of Kenneth Lee who was 17 years old, and on a roof top with his family in 1992.
If you’re have issues with maybe killing some one unintended, you will need to come to terms with that because it’s going to happen. But none of us started this shit. If you don’t want shot, don’t show up. If the choice is my family or personal property or multiple people in the mob suffering GSWs then they better have some medics close by.
We are out of alternatives. A spin thru the reliable news is scary at best. Tic Toc.

Your observation is apt and on-the-money. The parallels to repressive regimes of the past are evident. Inquiring minds would like to know, however, where you got access to their training docs and SOPs… or are they posted on the internet for all to see? If the latter, they would be emulating the “open-source insurgency” of the various jihad groups, ISIS/IS, al-Qaeda, etc. which have adopted similar methods.

Regarding the more-ruthless, the more rank, one cannot help but wonder if a future Reinhard Heydrich is being groomed from within the ranks even as we speak.

I think it will get worse too. As this progresses, they will begin to use terror tactics. I loosely predict that in the future we will see some guy wearing a MAGA hat beheaded in the road by some Antifa insurgent using a sword.

This is the same organization that’s been active in Europe for a long time. LE has reported seeing Europeans mixed in with the mob here. For a better understanding of their structure one might start by researching the European version. If the truth would ever be exposed, I’m sure Soros brought them over here for our amusement.

I have been here 15 years the first 10 in a subdivision where I ran the Neighborhood Watch. I really don’t think the black horde is gonna march on my APT complex. There is a APT complex 3 miles up the road that I think you coułd become a ANTIFA stronghold due to demographics. That said, on my side of town, awash in white priveledge. Actually, it isn’t time to try and hunt down Antifa, they are pretty numerous and hard to localize.

It seems to me that the choke point, the person who most influences the apparent protected status Antifa enjoys on the streets of Portland, is not other than the DA.

Antifa is just the street thugs. Always remember they can’t do what they do without the NLG providing legal support services, and the city DA office willfully looking the other way in prosecuting Antifa crimes.

Like Mike Vanderbeough used to say, Clinton rules are in effect. Regime supporters like Mike Schmidt should be on your local accountability file.

The Sturgis police gave Antifa more protection than the Portland police gave a random motorist driving his truck through downtown.

The last ten, 20, 30 years prove that conservatives will actively work to support and maintain a system which is itself actively working against their interests so long as it has the veneer of legitimacy and tradition.

Again, I’ll reiterate: the Sturgis police protected Antifa better than Portland police protected random motorists.

When Trump is re-elected it is up to him to direct the defeat of the Marxist insurgency we are facing. He entered the White house as a real estate mogul and accomplished deal maker and was in no way prepared to deal with the leftista swamp. He is learning on the job and I am hoping when he leaves DC after his next term he will be hailed as the POTUS who broke the back of this Marxist insurgency. If he fails to stop the insurgency or if he is not re elected (doubtful) then stopping the Marxist take over of America will be left up to the grass roots patriots of America. Since social media has escalated their war against those on the right I would suggest the Captain would set up an alternative place on his site or off site that we can share tactics and strategy for the work we have ahead of us.
