1. The Left being stopped kinetically, as in Chile in 1973. This is not possible in 2021, because the military is fully cucked, “woke,” and tilting hard-Left. Battlefield warriors are being replaced by social justice warriors. Americans holding traditional conservative values are being intentionally driven out of the military. This is the true purpose of forcing the Left’s trans insanity into the military, transforming it into a hard-Left organization whose leaders and troops consider the Constitution and Bill of Rights to be obsolete parchments penned by white racist slave owners. Don’t look to the military to stop the current slide into Communism, they will be fully on board with it.

2. An eventual full-out Communist victory leading to a Stalinist “deep winter” end state like Cuba or North Korea. This is unlikely because A. the conservative Right is too well armed, and too well trained in military special operations to be defeated kinetically, and B. the federal government is too weak, with an American economic implosion looming as trillions of digital fiat dollars are created out of thin air.

 3. Economic implosion leading to a collapse of federal power, a breakdown in food and fuel distribution, leading to a civil war that will resemble Weimar Germany colliding with Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda at the same time. This new civil war, unprecedented in its horrors, might eventually lead to some type of pyrrhic conservative victory, but only on top of the ashes of the American constitutional republic, and at an enormous cost in lives lost and property destroyed.

That’s an extremely bleak assessment.  But it does appear that a massive realignment is taking place with the dropping of Facebook, Twitter, etc., and migration towards other platforms.  It’s even happening with Amazon.  This post by James Wesley Rawles is telling.

In addition to quitting the Amazon Associates program, I will also cancel my own Amazon Prime membership (now $119 per year), cancel my Amazon account, and stop making any new blog links to Amazon products. And I’ll try to come up with a script that will automatically rip out the thousands of Amazon links that are in SurvivalBlog’s database. (We now have more than 31,000 archived articles, columns, and letters.)

I encourage you to read the rest of his article.  This is a big deal for him – this means turning away money.

Also make sure to read the comments (at this reading there are 202 comments).  This is occurring everywhere.  It may or may not be enough to affect Amazon.  I doubt it.  But what it does do is show that given an information war, a mass migration is occurring within that domain.

The two sides have self-identified, and there is no turning back.

I have a problem with his conclusions because of the large difference in sample sizes between persons shot with the .357 magnum and .44 magnum.

Systematic theology isn’t dry or boring.  Theology is “talk about God.”  If you dismiss or don’t like theology, it is the God of that theology who may be your real enemy.

For systematic theology is simply the arrangement of Scripture, and the translation and exegesis of that Scripture, that bears on various subjects, such as the nature of God, who He is, what names by which He calls Himself (e.g.,Elohim, El-Shaddai, Yahweh, Jehova, Adonai, etc.) and what that tells us about God, the trinity, the person of Jesus, soteriology, who man is, the federal headship of Adam and what that means for man, from what man must be saved, God’s plan to do just that and how He accomplishes it.

We cannot simply make up out of our imaginations doctrine about God when He has revealed Himself in the Scriptures, nor can we fabricate out of whole cloth what we want to believe about God, how He communicated with us, and what we must do to have joy in obedience.

What a sad state of affairs.  Diversity in the military will never be readiness for anything but failure.

God has rules for war and for military service (I won’t rehearse those now, but you can refer to R. J. Rushdoony, “Institutes of Biblical Law”), but they aren’t being followed here.

Thus this is alignment with wickedness.  Of course, destruction of U.S. military capabilities may be their intent.

Was anybody other than me aghast at the terrible state of the NG troops sent to D.C. recently?  Those boys and girls had better hope they never face combat.

I would assume that the correct answer to this question is, “You can thread pipes by hand (I’ve done that). You shouldn’t do that with barrels.”

His word is identified with Him. In the Scriptures, it takes on holy attributes by self proclamation.

That’s correct. You are not seeing things or dreaming. Check out the photo once again. The price tag on that 38 Special +P+ ammunition is $110 a box of 50 rounds. Outrageous. This is just one example of current pricing of ammo at a recent arms show due to the ammo crisis.

At a recent gun show, I recently saw packages of 100 rounds of 22 LR ammo selling for $40 — and that was a good buy.

Ammo at inflated prices? That 22 rimfire ammo mentioned above only 9 months ago was selling for $15 a box. The ironic part is that any available ammo was flying off the tables once buyers got over the sticker shock and pried their wallets out of their pockets. Some buyers came by the tables two or three times before they bought. It took a while for the high-priced reality to settle in.

What’s the deal? To be honest, no one really seems to know. Dealer after dealer told me their suppliers and distributors were simply “out” of ammunition — and they were not accepting any back orders. Many felt like some suppliers were withholding stock to keep the prices high so they could cash in while the getting was good. We’ve seen that before as well.

There were no indications of when ammo supplies might be fulfilled in the future. Smaller dealers said they believed that ammo supplies were being allocated to their biggest dealers and the little guys were just left with nothing. It’s getting to be a dire situation if you are really in need of even just a few boxes of ammo. It’s getting to be the same with guns. One dealer told me he would be out of business in six months if firearms supplies did not open up.

Even common everyday hunting loads for the 30-06 Sprg, 270 Winchester, 30-30 Winchester, or the 243 Winchester were non-existent at this gun show. Deer hunting season is still open here and hunters were frantically searching for even one last box to close out the season. There was almost none to be had, and what was available was triple the price it would have cost twelve months ago.

The ammo crisis is hard to understand, given manufacturers’ reports that ammo production is at top capacity. There have been local news reports of the Winchester rimfire factory in Oxford, MS running full blast. If so, where in the heck is all the ammo going? Even the big box stores are out of ammo, too, including Walmart and Bass Pro Shops here locally.

I know that in my neck of the woods it may be something, I don’t know what, alluded to in the article, but it’s something else too.

I dropped into my local Academy Sports a few days ago and talked to one of the guys behind the counter.

Buyers know when the trucks come, and when they do, there is no telling what they will bring, what caliber, or how much.  But it’s usually Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and he told me folks start lining up at around 0230 hours on all three of those days.

He said, “If you’re not here in line by 0600, you won’t get any ammo.”

It’s being hoarded for sure, but then, I live in a firearm friendly county.

Observations: There are some oddball cartridges like 6.5 PRC and .280 Ackley Improved, but pretty much everything is being made in 30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor.  A lot of manufacturers are protecting barrels with Cerakote or lightening up the load with a carbon wrapper.  But reducing the weight takes money.  You pay big for reduction in weight.  It would be nice to have that Savage 110 Ultralight.

Observations: There are still break action guns and over-unders, some with very nice engraving.  In spite of what’s shown here though, manufacturers have finally gotten the touch on their gas systems, and most of the market seems to be dominated by auto-loaders.

My opinion is that without renewal and reformation of the church in America, there is no basis upon which to save the republic.  It lacks any foundation upon which to build.  If we cannot save the republic, we cannot hope to build a new one.

For there to be reformation in the church, we must go back to the basics.
