Dean Weingarten has a good find at Ammoland.
Judge Eduardo Ramos, the U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York, has issued an Opinion & Order that a ban on stun guns is constitutional. A New York State law prohibits the private possession of stun guns and tasers; a New York City law prohibits the possession and selling of stun guns. Judge Ramos has ruled these laws do not infringe on rights protected by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.

He raises a very interesting question at the end of the video that had not occurred to me when I first saw the stupid report. Point: virtually everything you see is staged propaganda, or has the high probability of being so.
While the world and legacy media shout and screech about the Afghan crisis and hundreds of thousands of Afghan refugees who need to be resettled, what has happened to the crisis on the Southern border? That’s right. It has disappeared from the TV screen and news.
We surely don’t want these weapons of war coming across the ocean like the disposed Afghans surely will and through the porous border. We need gun control – now!
Maybe this was all planned. Maybe somebody is trying to cover their tracks by handing over weapons technology that ultimately ends up in the hands of Iran, Pakistan and China.
That’s a question I’ve been asking myself recently.
I know all about Occam’s razor. I know the simplest explanation for all of this in Afghanistan – that the current administration is filled with goobers. Indeed they are. But can they really be as stupid as they seem?
But I am beginning to have some difficulty with the belief that they were caught flat-footed.
What is some of the video is staged? What if the situation was well-understood and planned? What if the current administration wanted Americans to feel sympathy for Afghanis, and decide to open the doors of the border wide open for them, nay, even demand that the administration rescue them and provide them with a place to live, food for their tables, and education for their children?
What if this is a continuation of the project to terraform America?
The young men with the Taliban numbered only in the dozens, but the crowds cowered before them. The men fired automatic weapons indiscriminately into the air, and sometimes aimed them at the assembled men, women and children.
Some of the bearded fighters were dressed in traditional shalwar kameez — baggy trousers and a long tunic — but others adopted incongruous accessories: high-top sneakers, gold watches, knee-high socks.
The beatings seemed to be administered almost at random, but with chilling deliberateness. Sticks, lengths of rubber hose, knotted rope, rifle butts — the fighters wielded them all.
Some of those on the receiving end of the blows were trying to slip away through a hole in the fence to get inside the airport perimeter, but others were simply squatting on the ground, trying to shield themselves.
It’s obvious that the people outnumber the Taliban by a wide margin. What sort of people cower before powers that abuse them?
Then again, Americans have cowered before police SWAT raids, gun confiscations, bowed to mandatory vaccinations, put on ridiculous and ineffective face coverings, and acquiesced to the loss of hundreds of thousands of small businesses.
So it looks like people are the same the world over.
The unit that the Taliban has put in charge of the Afghan capital of Kabul is Badri 313, their special forces battalion.
Badri 313 is not a ragtag bunch of goat farmers like much of the Taliban regulars. According to media reports, they are a lethal special forces unit with the gear and expertise to go with it. US military weapons, night goggles, tactical vests, helmets…it’s all there. Now we know how the Taliban offensive took over the country so quickly.
Regular Taliban fighters are usually seen sporting turbans and vests while carrying old rifles.
After the takeover of Kabul, the Taliban’s special commando unit — Badri 313 — is ruling the streets of the Afghan capital. Armed with modern weapons and gadgets, the elite forces of Taliban are guarding the streets of Kabul. The forces have been specially trained for special operations. Reports say that the Taliban’s special commandos played a key role in Afghan offensive and are now responsible for the security of Kabul where they can be seen deployed at all key locations.
Eh … I don’t know. It’s one thing to have nice equipment, uniforms, vehicles, a command structure, and money. It’s entirely a different thing to be fully trained by professionals on how to use it all.
With that said, their equipment is nice. I saw NODS, Peq-15s, M4s, body armor, ballistic helmets, and so on. That all costs a lot of money, and it includes a bunch of stuff I don’t have.
I’m surprised to hear that the Russian makers have captured 40% of the ammunition market. I’m not trying to be an ammo snob, but I don’t put steel cased ammo through my guns. But this statistic is repeated elsewhere.
This increases demand for brass, so expect ammunition prices to go up again. You can send your thanks to Mr. Biden.
