Paul Harrell Being Amusing
And celebratory.
We used a typical scoped service rifle you will find on the line at a high power match today. Its core is a 1:7 inch-twist Krieger barrel set up by White Oak Precision. The gun has a Geissele service rifle trigger group, a Nightforce Comp SR-1 scope sitting on a Keystone Armory cantilever mount. The handguard is a Geissele Mark 7 with 1/2 rod lead weights in each side and rubber coverings. The rear is a Magpul Gen1 with a Stealth Ballistics weight in the pocket. The sling is a Doc Jones service rifle sling, similar ones are available from Eric Hollis. Finally, the ammunition is 77-grain Sierra MatchKings over a moderate charge of Varget, seated to magazine length.
Well, that’s an expensive gun.
The shooting stance certainly isn’t tactical or for CQB, but it’s nice to see an emphasis on precision long range shooting without being prone or from benchrest.
“Why do you want to use intimidation as a way to keep law enforcement from doing what we’re supposed to do,” Griffis said.
Because if this is what you think you’re supposed to do, you don’t understand or believe in your oath of office. You’re dishonest and dishonorable, and so are your deputies.
They should never have started it.
The Justice Department on Thursday moved to drop its case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, in a stunning development that comes after internal memos were released raising serious questions about the nature of the investigation that led to Flynn’s late 2017 guilty plea of lying to the FBI.
The announcement came in a court filing “after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information,” as the department put it. DOJ officials said they concluded that Flynn’s interview by the FBI was “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn” and that the interview was “conducted without any legitimate investigative basis.”

Documents unsealed a week ago by the Justice Department revealed agents discussed their motivations for interviewing him in the Russia probe – questioning whether they wanted to “get him to lie” so he’d be fired or prosecuted, or get him to admit wrongdoing.
And not only that, but knowledge of this went all the way to the top.
President Obama was aware of the details of then-incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn’s intercepted December 2016 phone calls with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, apparently surprising then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, according to documents released Thursday as exhibits to the government’s motion to dismiss the Flynn case.
Obama’s unexpectedly intimate knowledge of the details of Flynn’s calls, which the FBI said at the time were not criminal in nature, raised eyebrows because of his own history with Flynn — and because top FBI officials secretly discussed whether their goal was to “get [Flynn] fired” when they interviewed him in the White House on January 24, 2017.
Obama personally had warned the Trump administration against hiring Flynn, and made clear he was “not a fan,” according to multiple officials. Obama had fired Flynn as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2014.
Unexpectedly. Just like I’m sure of his knowledge of running guns to Mexico along with his AG, when it becomes found out at some point, will be “unexpected.”
I said from the very beginning (look up my previous posts on this) that the deep state had to take Flynn down because he knew too much about the various military machinations across the globe by the deep state.
Yeesh! What a bunch of entitled, fat ass geezers with expensive toys on our expense. I’m talking about the cops.
Oh, and I don’t want to hear another word about how great Texas is. Texas is just like every other state. All fifty states are full of little tyrants. Close your eyes. Go out into public. Open them. Somewhere near you is a tyrant.
News from the land of Trudeau.
“A report has been released today by UHN with respect to cardiac deaths and it has been estimated that approximately 35 people may have passed away because their surgeries were not performed,” Health Minister Christine Elliott acknowledged last Tuesday, according to Toronto Star.

“We feel for those families who have lost family members whether it has been from cancer deaths or cardiac deaths or a COVID-19 death, but these were decisions that we had to make,” she said, adding, “That’s not something any of us want to hear. It certainly was not intended. Any death is a tragedy.”
Sure it was. You knew what you were doing and you did it anyway. That makes it intentional.
This is a very important video. I assume that mother-Google will take it down soon. Watch this entirely as soon as you can. I watched this one hour ago, and it had just over 700,000 views. Now it has close to one million.
But they won’t be able to shut her up. She has a book.
EDIT: Mother Google has already taken it down. Let’s see if this works.
“I’m the number one supporter [on] radio and television, that I know of, [of the] First Amendment and the Second Amendment. Now, no one is a bigger defendant of the Second Amendment than yours truly,” Hannity said Monday night on his televison program.
“Everyone has the right to protest, protect themselves and try to get the country open,” the host said as video rolled of Thursday’s protest in Lansing. “This, with the militia look here, and these long guns, uh… no. Show of force is dangerous. That puts our police at risk. And by the way, your message will never be heard, whoever you people are.”
“No one should be attempting to intimidate officials with a show of force, and God forbid, something happens,” the host continued. “Then they’re going to go after all of us law-abiding Second Amendment people.”
Thus, he would have been against the intimidation of British troops in the war of independence.
Hannity speaks like one who is a GOP diehard, a run-of-the-mill “law and order” republican, not a patriot.
This video may be taken down by the time you try to watch this.
Ned.
I’ve been following George Webb and Paul Cottrell since you first posted here. They were talking about the people admitted to hospitals with covid symptoms all having low vitamin D and C. Paul Cottrell mentioned that almost everyone in NYC has low vitamin D for obvious reasons. So the government remedy is to keep everyone locked inside.
It’s interesting that so many people tested who were found to have the virus had no symptoms. A test of homeless people showed a large number with the virus and no symptoms. Possibly being homeless they are getting enough sun to keep their vitamin D levels up. George Webb opined that had the bioweapon been released in California on the beaches in the summer, no one would have likely ever known, as no one would ever have presented with symptoms.
I personally know of two patients who recovered rapidly from using hydroxychloroquine. It works when prescribed correctly and soon enough. I saw a post on twitter where a woman with lupus who is prescribed hydroxychloroquine sent some to her daughter who had the virus and couldn’t shake it for weeks. Cleared it right up. Apparently within hours she improved. Twitter deleted the mother’s account the next day.
Of course Twitter deleted her post. They want people to die. Twitter sucks. They’re staffed by wicked people.
I too have read the reports of the relationship between Vitamin D and Covid-19 symptoms.
