My Bout With Covid

BY Herschel Smith
2 years, 1 month ago

About four weeks and a few days ago on a Friday, my wife and I drove to another city to take care of my mother in the ER of a hospital.  She was there for something other than Covid.  By the end of the day when we left, she had a test come in positive for Covid.  That was on a Friday.

By Monday I started suspecting that I was very sick, and I got on Ivermectin early on.  Tuesday my wife and I took a Covid test, and it was positive.  I didn’t need a test.  I knew.

Tuesday was the day I wanted to die.  It was the worst day of the bout.  My kidneys ached and hurt and I just suffered back pain along my kidneys like I had never experienced.  Apparently, there is a lot of stuff produced from this disease that your body is having to expel.  This disease leaves behind an enormous amount of biological trash for your body to take out.

Wednesday I was a bit better, and Thursday just a bit better.  Coming back from this is a slow process.  By day ten or so, while I was dealing with a lot of head congestion and still coughing a bit, I had essentially beaten the bug.  Or so I thought.

My coughs weren’t frequent, and they were always productive.  I never went into coughing fits.  But this was just the first stage of the disease.  The second one begins around day 10 – 12.  It’s the inflammatory stage of the disease.  The tendency and temptation is to think you’ve beaten it and stop your treatment protocol.

That’s a mistake.  Don’t do that.  I did for a couple of days and regretted it.  I just about took a sharp left turn and got back on my treatment protocol.

Here’s another mistake.  I’ve lifted weights ever since being on the power lifting team at Clemson.  I tried to go back to the gym too early.  I was doing resistance exercises at day ten of the disease.  Don’t do that.  If you get Covid (I should say when you get Covid, not if), your body is trying to fight the disease.  It doesn’t need to repair muscle fibers too.

I’m still in the gym, but I do it just a little less frequently now, maybe three days per week.  I’ve always walked, but I changed my routine up to preferentially walk instead of lift weights.  I walk now two or three times per day, at least a mile each time.  A brisk walk in the cold night air was always beneficial for me, clearing my lungs and head almost immediately.

My treatment protocol was as follows.

Heavy Vitamin C

Heavy Vitamin D

Heavy Zinc / Copper (the Zinc can’t be absorbed without Copper).

Frequent (two or three or even four times per day) Sodium Bicarbonate nasal wash.  I hate it, I’d never done it before, but listen to me for when you get this disease.  There is no substitute for a sodium bicarbonate sinus wash.  There is no other way to rid your sinuses of this crap.  This was an indispensable part of my treatment protocol.

And finally, Ivermectin

Also listen to me on this for when you get this disease.  Do not wait to find IVM.  Get it now.  Do not delay.  You absolutely must jump on top of this disease with both feet.  Delays may be deadly for you.

Now I’m in the third phase of the disease.  Getting my stamina back.  Like I said, I still do resistance exercises, I just don’t have the endurance or wind I did before this.  It’ll come back gradually.  Last Saturday was the first day in four weeks I got out of bed and said, “I feel great today!”

Michael Yon sent this out yesterday.

Important note that just came in: Military medical professional just told me to stock up on HCQ. Source said we gonna need it 2-3 months from now. Get now. (Remember in January 2020 when I said this would happen to grocery shelves. Just do it on HCQ. Get your HCQ now. I we are wrong, you are out a few dozen dollars and I apologize in advance. Got to keep my readers alive — y’all keep me fed and operating).

I believe him, and I have IVM in the house (I will never be without it – that’s the degree to which I’m a believer in it).  But I don’t know how to get HQC.

Here’s a caution.  IVM can screw up your gut bacteria (it did with my wife), and she is having to restore it with probiotics.  Just be aware that this can occur and be prepared to deal with it.  That didn’t happen to me.

For readers.  Let us know if you come down with this disease.  We can add you to the prayer list.  I have to say, Fauci has created a bad bioweapon.  It was wicked of him to do so.  He is a servant of Lucifer.

You can beat it, but you must use the proper protocol (except for those who for whatever reason do not seem to be affected by it).  Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional, and YMMV.

Here’s a sad fact.  You might have read reports of a man who was in the hospital with Covid and the hospital refused IVM to him, his family going to court to press the hospital into giving him this life saving treatment?  Do you recall that report?

Yea, well the court refused, and he passed away.  He was a friend of mine and a good and Godly man.

Sorry to hear about your friend – one of many unfortunately

From the many similar cases I have heard it seems if you get to the hospital you are past the usual effective stage for the IVM to help and are where the anticlonals might kick in – IF – you could get them

I appreciate the synopsis – everyone experiences different symptoms and the more examples everyone has the better chance they have to get ahead of it

    Nasal wash formula I use:
    1 TSP salt
1/2 TSP baking soda (the sodium bicarbonate)
    1 TSP xylitol
    1 TSP erythritol
mixed in one pint of lukewarm water.

The young lady who gave me the initial recipe with just the salt and baking soda emphasized both were needed, without one of them it hurt, and without the other it burns. The salt approximates the body’s salinity, the baking soda buffers the pH. I tried – and she was right. I forget which is which. I’ve been doing it for over 10 years- and haven’t taken an antihistamine in that time.

About 3 years ago I added the xylitol- because a commercial mix I used with a squeeze bottle when camping had it in the mix. The box explained it made it more soothing. It is. And- since that time, haven’t had cold or flu symptoms. Seems xylitol has antiviral properties. Early in the covidiocy someone suggested to me (in a series of blog comments) that I look into erythritol. Seems several studies have shown that xylitol has antiviral properties, as does erythritol Slightly different effectiveness against different viruses/bacteria. And a handful of studies looked at booth together- and they are more effective together.

During the covidiocy added daily gargling and mouth rinsing with the two. My dental hygienist on my last visit remarked that my teeth were in much better shape than the past.

I’m unvaxxed and haven’t had it yet after multiple CDC defined close exposures. I also take most of the supplements recommended. And my Vitamin D blood level last measured was 60 ng/ml. But if I was asked to name the one thing that was most responsible for not catching it- the daily nasal irrigation.

    @ Herschel,

You’ve mentioned a few times that you have rheumatoid arthritis. Could you use that as you justification for a HCQ prescription?

I’d be curious to know if your test was a PCR, and, if so, did it have the S-gene target failure that marks for Omicron as opposed to earlier variants? From the severity of your symptoms, I suspect you were one of the last of the delta cases since omicron is supposed to be mild.

I’m sure your APRN daughter will get around to telling you this, but if she hasn’t…. your alveoli, the tiny and numerous elastic sacs which mark the point of gas transport to nearby capillaries in your lungs, expand under load. They have channels which communicate with neighboring air sacs and these pores open only when the alveoli expand past a certain point.

Which is why doctors and nurses are always getting on post-operative and/or recovering patients to get up and walk a bit if at all possible. It is also one reason why RTs – respiratory therapists – have patients do deep-breathing exercises.

Expanding the alveoli not only promotes greater gas exchange, but it aids in clearing out debris and mucous, which can then be eliminated.

Glad you made it through the illness. Rough ride, but at least you are still alive-and-kicking.

The evidence – at least to me – points firmly toward this bug being engineered in a lab, so we agree on that point. Perhaps the world’s finest virologist, Dr. Luc Montagnier, stated early on in this event that the gene sequences for HIV and SARS – which occur together in the SARS-Co19 virus – do not exist in the same genome anywhere in nature, and that their presence in the same viral genome had to be the result of deliberate bio-engineering.

Where and by what means did you obtain Ivermectin, if I may ask? I missed that post, if you explained it in the past…..

In April 2021 I took the J&J shot figuring it was like a flu shot. Jan 11 this year I started feeling sick – like a cold in the nose. For two days I had fever, peaking at 104, and night sweats. I was tested and found positive Jan. 14. By Jan. 17 the fever was gone. Most of the time it was like a cold, some congestion and an occasional productive cough. I was still tired and stayed away from the gym until the 28th. I figured rest was key. I used OTC cold medicine, supplemented with antihistamines. I wanted a variety of antihistaminces to stave off a cytokine storm. Vitamins similar to yours. Commercial nasal washes. No IVM, no HCQ – I don’t know how to get either. At day 22 I feel good, slowly regaining strength in the gym, but surprisingly the cardio portion of my workout did not suffer much. Not bad for 69 years old.

I figure we are all unique individuals – we should not expect to all have the same reactions to diseases, stresses and medications.

Thank you very much for the candor in relating your travails. You give a solid suggestion regarding not becoming lax about the treatment protocol. Last year the nice Mayo lady who called me within 6 hours of a positive result mentioned that the reason they jump on arranging monoclonal antibodies is because of what they’d seen in clinical situations. Someone thinks they’ve got it beat & it comes “roaring back” and the result can be hospital. She did for me as well, next day at our little satellite clinic down the road. I had extremely mild symptoms. (This was before the days of The Regime making a full declaration of war on therapeutics, especially on DeSantis via monoclonal antibodies.)

I disagree that only one nasal rinse is effective. (Just as there are many effective early treatments.)
Dr Peter McCullough has mentioned three types of nasal irrigation. Diluted betaine, diluted hydrogen peroxide and hypertonic saline (double concentrated).
I think they all likely reduce nasal viral load chemically and mechanically.
For data on early treatments c19early.com has over 1000 studies listed. Perhaps you can’t get Ivermectin and you feel depressed and want fluvoxamine. Nigella sativa and quercetin also look good.
This disease requires multiple agents to treat.
    Hope this helps.

    Phases for viral illnesses

    1) Incubation – after exposure, no symptoms, the viral load is very low but starting to grow. In general, this is the best time to start the various washes and OTC medications.

    2) Prodromal – mild symptoms, the viral load is steadily rising. Rapid Ag and PCR may or may not pickup.

    3) Symptomatic – the classic symptoms, viral load is high. Rapid Ag and PCR should pick up – if not, and the disease is present, false negative. Developing pneumonia with hypoxia can develop.

    4) Recovery – the virus is gone. Anti-virals will make no difference as there is no viral replication. However, now you’re left with the damage left behind – pneumonia, heart issues including heart attack or heart failure, clotting issues, etc.

For those who think “power through it”, I’d encourage you not. The lungs took a significant hit. Exercising hard creates an oxygen debt normally. Doing this when the lungs are compromised can result in demand ischemia to the heart, resulting in a heart attack for some. Its why we see elevated troponins (heart enzyme) in some post-COVID. The recovery phase can take weeks or months, depending on what organ systems took the hit.

Same results as your wife with the gut. Get onto live probiotics as soon as you complete the ivm course. Lots of probiotics make lots of claims. It’s not the total number of probiotics that’s good, it’s total variety of 30 or more types of LIVE bacteria that replenishes guy. They begin to reproduce in your gut so you don’t need lots of the same kind you need all the necessary varieties.

And don’t forget to play in the dirt and rotting leaves. Hike off trail touching everything and let all the natural bacteria make its way from your hands to your face to inside your mouth. Maybe tent camping a couple nights this spring as well. After all, this is how you got most of your probiotics in the first place.

Herschel, do your wife’s probiotics regimen anyway. It can take months for your body to show the effects of loss of gut bacteria. Some are bad effects including appendicitis, gall bladder problems, colon problems and etc.

After Herschel’s 1st post about Ivermectin in 2020, I ordered 2 tubes of the Durvet paste from Tractor Supply. Tractor Supply has since made it harder to order and the price is higher, but it can still be found from feed stores.

There are other therapies which are easier to get (see c19early.com for comparisons of effectiveness). The Frontline Doctors are now recommending black seed oil (Nigella Sativa) when ivermectin can’t be obtained. I keep some handy and took a dose recently when I felt like I could be getting sick. It tastes pretty bad. My wife and I take daily doses of EGCG (a catechin in green tea extract) and quercetin in addition to our vitamins as a preventative measure. God gave us these herbs for a reason.

Melatonin, which I 1st saw suggested here (survivalblog.com/2020/02/16/letter-elderberry-wuhan) is gaining a lot of evidence as being effective, and compares quite well to ivermectin in the above meta-analysis. Melatonin is made in your skin in response to the red/infrared components of sunlight, and this (along with vitamin D) is why it’s better to get outdoors for sunshine when fighting an infection. (See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Zzo4SJopcY for a decent introduction to this.)

Been exposed dozens if not hundreds of times. Safety guy at work and have had to screen hundreds of employees everyday coming on to project. Dozens of times I have had to go get sick employees in the field and drive them back to their car so they could go home.

First week of Dec 2021 wife and I both got the delta like a hammer. Body aches, fever with delerium, bad cough which had us both so sore from coughing our ribs felt broken. Same treatment other than this time I had plenty of ivermectin pony paste which we both took each morning with no side effects. By day two we were in much pain and discomfort, had a difficult time even keeping track of when our daily meds were due, ( I suggest writing down on paper when you take them to help keep track ) amazingly on day three by afternoon we both started feeling slightly better as fever seemed to subside and less congestion. Day four was noticeably better, we each took the Ivermectin for a total of five days. Cough slowly went away but took about ten days to subside.Yes it sucked bigly. Our daughter in law and grand babies ages 18 months and three all got it with the kids only having a mild fever and runny noses thank the Lord.

I started throwing Ivermectin at it on Sunday and kept taking it daily for ten days. Tuesday night of that week I had a fever of 101° and my pulse hit 126. BP was also elevated that night. But by Wednesday morning the fever had broken and the pulse and BP were again normal. And by Thursday all my symptoms were gone. I have never had a virus that elevated my pulse and BP like that.

The lesson I have learned: never be without ivermectin. I think what I had could have been far worse if I had not had some IVM.

Coming out of something similar. Not vaxd (never), not tested (ever). Got hit on 1/28. Haven’t been sick in 5 years+. Have been around lots of folks, vaxd, unvaxd, covid+, tested pos., had and survived (lots) whatever you want to call it. Never anything until 1/28.

There have been 5 men that I know of in my ao who have “left” due to “it” supposedly. It is well sourced in my community that these men had other complications/pre-existing conditions/smoked/poor eating habits/etc., etc. I think you all know what I am talking about. All 60+. One was in damn good shape and he was 70+. Most mind-blowing of all.

1st hand report from an acquaintance that had 2 family members “leave” this past summer. One 80ish, stage 4 cancer. The other mid 40’s with lifelong “poor health”. The writing was on the wall for these men. Both had tested + somewhere along the way. When they “left”, local hospital asked, if we can list death as c19, we will pay for their funerals. Nice. Follow the money.

Several things not mentioned here that is in our daily reg. Colloidal silver/Sovereign Silver. (in lieu of the above nose wash) Available at nearly every local health food/supplement store…and on line. We have a CS generator and make our own. Make your own tinctures/hot sauces, etc. Very easy to do. Good homegrown organic hot peppers dried to a crisp and made into the hottest sauce possible kills bugs in your system dead. Not talking about the processed crap you are buying from corpco.

If you have a Naturopath in your community, look them up.

I also know many friends and acquaintances who are dealing with this “crap” right now. Just in the last 3 weeks. These are folks who like me, haven’t had this crap until now. Very, very strange. So where the hell did it come from, so suddenly after 2 years infecting a pretty large group?

So now comes the conspiracy part. Anyone seeing an increase in geoengineering overhead lately. It has been insane here in the Idaho/Montana region…for 2 years. Back and forth across the sky all day long 4-5 days a week. It was bad before that. You folks on the east coast sick of it yet? Nice weather your having. Remember the beautiful indigo blue skies we had as kids? 1960’s-70’s?

If you stop reading right now, well that is your choice. Ignore it at your own peril. If you think for a second that they wouldn’t mix a little “crap” with those miscellaneous nano particles their dumping, well, I hope I’m wrong.

Thanks for this post Herschel, the rest of you and best to you as well CA. I still stop by now and again.

I am not jabbed and have not worn a worse-than-useless face mask.

I thought I would escape Covid, but it finally got me 3 weeks ago today. But my symptoms were mild-like I had a bad head cold. 3 days later I noticed I couldn’t taste anything, and that’s when I figured it was Covid. A self -test confirmed it for me. My friend the doctor told me to get the monoclonal antibody infusion which I did the following Wednesday (soonest available) and felt a bit better. He also prescribed Ivermectin for me- but finding a pharmacy that would fill the script took another 2 days. His prescribed course was 3mgs/day for 5 days which I finished on Sunday. No HCQ.

The only symptoms I have had are the river of phlegm and nasal mucus, feeling tired and some shortness of breath (I have asthma). 3 weeks out I still feel like I have a mild head cold and am a little fatigued but that’s about it.
He also prescribed Azithromycin in case it seemed like it was going towards pneumonia, but I haven’t needed that -yet. However, based on your description, it sounds like I am only at the end of the first stage. He also suggested I get some Xlear nasal spray which I just did.

PS- my wife also has it but is a different story – it hit her harder and she has refused to take the Ivermectin because she says the dose needed to work is much bigger than what was prescribed. I asked her where she got that info (online!) and why she didn’t trust that my friend of 50 years knew what he was doing. She didn’t answer.
She is very mistrustful of all doctors since her near death experience at Duke Hospital 2005-2006. And she is not at all consistent in taking daily vitamins. She is just so damn atubborn.

She is coughing a lot -mostly productive and says her phlegm is clear. And she is fatigued..but that’s it. But I am watching for early signs of pneumonia.

Try local large animal/farm supply places. The INJECTABLE liquid [Durvet Ivermectin Cattle and Swine 1% Sterile Solution] should be available. If they ask why tell them you have a Pot Bellied pig with mange mites. You might need to find a petting zoo or other place and have a picture taken with “your pet” to satisfy them.

If you want to get HCQ, just go make a telehealth appointment on America’s frontline doctors website. It costs 90$ For the consult. Pick your pharmacy, they’ll call you and talk to you briefly and recommend/ask what you want. My wife and I both had covid about 3 weeks ago and were only sick for a day or two. The meds showed up a week after we weren’t sick anymore, but we have ivermectin, Z packs, and HCQ in our house now should we or anyone we care about need it. You can also order this stuff as a preventative regimen, when I ordered mine my wife had it but I didn’t yet.

Keep in mind it took three days for them to call me after I booked the appointment online, and almost a week for the drugs to get here. I think the total time from booking it to the drugs getting here was like 10 days. They DO NOT offer overnight shipping or rushed orders or anything like that. For two telehealth appointments, and all the meds, we spent a little over 500$ for the two of us. They don’t take any kind of insurance, it’s just cash. But don’t wait until you are sick. Luckily we were over it fast and didn’t need this stuff, but if we did, it wouldn’t been too late to do any good.

I procured a wire transfer from my bank to theirs, shot a photo of the wire transfer to the contact as payment proof then they shipped my ‘vitamin supplements’ to me. I received 1000 12mg tabs for $100, $45 shipping and $50 to the bank for the transfer. Less than 20 cents per dose.

I have ordered twice for myself and others. We take it weekly as a prophylaxis based on weight. Will double the dosage and take five days if infected. I have seen no reports that cinchona or quinine is effective in the treatment of Covid and think that after 2 years if it worked, the world would know about it.

Doctors who prescribe ivermectin are usually quite willing to prescribe HCQ as well. Its brand name is Plaquenil, Anyone with a RA diagnosis should be able to get it. I have purchased it from foreign sources (mine is labeled in Ukrainian) – it is used in India as well. I know the USPS is trying to seize shipments of foreign-sourced ivermectin and would not be surprised to learn they are going after HCQ as well. So try to get it through a US doctor. FLCCC maintains a list of physicians willing to prescribe it.

You book a online medical exam, they order the drugs from a local pharmacy and the drugs get to you in a day or two.

We had Covid and I was fine after a few days, but my wife had a nagging cough, we added NAC and that was the end of it, and she was fine. NAC strengthens you lungs and helps clear out the spike proteins.

We also did the nettie pot, with store bought salt packets, with two drops of iodine added.
And we take 10-15K IU’s of Vit D every day, with vit K, vit C, magnesium, quercetin, and zinc. We also take a baby aspirin and turmeric to keep the blood thin and avoid blood clots from the covid spike proteins.

I quit smoking cigaretts 3 years ago, but the cravings occasionally crop up under stress, and I smoked for a week or two upon arrival. Within 3 weeks I was riding my bike for 5 miles a day, mostly up hills and was back to normal.
I shortly afterwood read a study claiming nicotene killed the spike protein in Covid and smokers had less severe cases of Covid than non-smokers! Who knew smoking was healthy?
My wife has never smoked, and never would. Her lack of energy/wind made her an invalid months later. I had her chew nicotene gum, for one day. A week later, she was riding her bike 5 miles all up and down hills every day.
I’m not telling anyone to start smoking, but chew some nicoteen gum, DO NOT chew more than the recommended dose, especially if a non smoker.
I was sick for 3 miserable days, before I was over it, besides the fatigue.
Zinc, querciten,D3,Vitamin C, Garlic, and lots of fluids, green tea with honey.
I had this in the middle of Feb. 2020, before anybody was mentionig Covid and treated it like the flu. Having type 2 diabetes, HBP, obesity (100 lbs overweight) according to Fraudci, I should have been dead. The current Covid Cult almost makes me wish I were.

Your bout sounds much like mine. I, like you wife, took Ivermectin as soon as I thought I had the virus. I had been taking a similar round of vitamins/supplements and I was still as “sick as a dog”. My wife on the other hand did the same and only had a mild case. Her only after effects were loss of taste and smell for 3-4 weeks. The COVID symptoms only lasted 12-14 hours. I on the other hand ended up with every “post COVID” ailment known to man (i.e. fatigue, loss of energy, fog, diarrhea’, etc. etc.). According to my doctors, I verifiably had COVID three times from June through January. I spent a week in the hospital. The virus attacked my liver as well. I was in great health before, but feel as if I am half the man I was before COVID. I am slowly getting better and my strength is returning. I walk and try to accomplish at least one task per day. I still believe in Ivermectin. I have friends who have taken veterinarian grade at the onset of symptoms and more times than not, their condition improved in a matter of hours. I will stock up on HCQ as well. All of the people who had a part in perpetuating this virus, subduing proven cures, ordering mask and lockdown mandates need to be held accountable and punished accordingly. God Bless and prepare to the best of your ability. I may not know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

Ah, the mechanics of nasal irrigation. 3 basic ways for daily use. Neti pot, which I wouldn’t even consider. Waterpik like device which I used for years. And the newest, the Navage system.

If you search nasal irrigation on Amazon you’ll find a number of Waterpik like devices. Any one of them works. I have a cheap one called H2ofloss® Dental Water Flosser, but any of them will do. You can use their mixes, or mix according to the recipe I posted. Adjust the stream so it runs up about 0.5 inches from the nasal irrigation tip, tilt your head down 30-45 degrees, put the tip in one nostril- and the mix will flow out the other into the sink. With whatever it washes out.

The Navage is easier to use. And designed to work with their salt pods. If you want to use their not very heap salt pods, mix your warm water with the xylitol/erythritol, and follow their easy directions. Keep head level, stick the nosepiece in, press the button all the way in- and it pumps the mix in one side, and pulls it out the other. Now if you don’t want to keep paying for their salt pods, there are instructions on the internet- youtube videos- that show how to bypass their interlock system that ensures you have to use their pods. I primarily use the Navage now.

And as I said, I have a squeeze bottle for camping. And as someone said above- make sure your water is biologically safe. My well water comes in at <50 deg F in the middle of summer. Too cold for amoeba. If you're on municipal water it's safe- provided you don't live in a place like Flint. If you're on a well or draw from a lake and you're not sure- boil or buy.

I was skeptical of this working when I started- but since there were times of the year I lived on antihistamines, and still couldn't breathe, I was willing to try it out. And it worked. A few months after I started I was outside one day and thought: "So this is what it's like to breathe normally!"

Quinine is an ingredient on cinchona bark and it probably works as good or better than HCQ. Be aware that quinine is not the only alkaloid in the bark, and filtering out the bad is important. From what I’ve seen, searching on how to make homemade tonic water is a good starting point for research into safely using the bark. If you want to go overboard, you could do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z23WEOwkRwk

From what I’ve seen, there are 3 theories of how HCQ and quinine work, and possibly all 3 could be correct:
    1. The quinine acts as a zinc ionophore, dragging zinc into the cells where the zinc can slow viral replication. If this is the case, then quercetin or EGCG could also fill this role, with the caveat that not all sources agree that these substances can be absorbed into the bloodstream as well.
    2. The quinine is alkaline, which interferes with the virus in human cells. In this case, even baking soda or potassium bicarbonate could help. That’s exactly how doctors used to treat colds and flu from the late 1800s up to the roughly the 1920. The dosage they used was roughly the same as you’ll find on the box for heartburn. (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/pmc/articles/PMC1580443/) , (www.researchgate.net/profile/Abida-Bhat/publication/344946669_Lysosomotropic_properties_of_sodium_bicarbonate_and_covid-19/links/5f9a5216a6fdccfd7b87f94a/Lysosomotropic-properties-of-sodium-bicarbonate-and-covid-19.pdf),
    (scholar.archive.org/work/xo4lsmxtjreubnnvrqzu35s6he/access/ia_file/crossref-pre-1909-scholarly-works/10.1016%252Fs0140-6736%252800%252931459-3.zip/10.1016%252Fs0140-6736%252800%252931927-4.pdf), (jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/article-abstract/219522)
    3. The quinine binds directly to viral proteins. EGCG, theaflavin, rutin, quercetin, and other natural substances do this also.

My wife and I battled the COVID in November – we had the body aches, taste and smell were gone and productive coughs but the most dramatic symptom was sleep. I could have slept soundly for days and to be honest enjoyed sleeping 12 hours at a time. We live in McAllen Texas so I crossed the border at Progresso to get ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine and we were both over most symptoms in a few days.

But that is not why I write; my father who’s 89 years old and in decent shape came down with COVID earlier in that month and my Mom made the huge judgement error of taking him to a hospital emergency department where he was promptly admitted and isolated on a COVID ward. He had major surgery on his carotid arteries the week prior and when his surgeon found out he was on a COVID ward he went there and raised holy hell to get him off saying his positive test was bogus due to excessive amplification on their PCR run. He then told my Mom that her husband obviously had COVID and if she wanted him to survive it she needed to make him get out of bed and walk…alot. He added isolating him on the COVID ward is a death sentence and he treated Dad with monoclonal antibodies adding that remdesivir was crap and any doctor recommending it should be automatically suspect. That surgeon saved my Dad’s life not by his excellent technique on the table but by protecting him from an incompetent hospital system that places federal dollars ahead of patients lives.
