We Could Use a Softer Touch on Immigration
BY Herschel SmithSo says the very man we elected to superintend it.
President Donald Trump told NBC News on Wednesday that he believes his administration could use “a softer touch” in its immigration enforcement operations after federal agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens last month in Minneapolis.
I told you so. America wants its silly football games, potato chips, popcorn, and nighttime sitcoms. When anything hard or difficult raises its head, America shrinks back in horror and reverts to soft and lazy.
Meanwhile, the NOPD hired an illegal to be a cop. I wonder how many more of them are out there? And also meanwhile, the CCP is stealing all of our intellectual property, on our own dime.

Well yes, ICE could use a softer touch, per Trump.
He sent Homan to Minneapolis to tamp down the riotious situation. Homan appears to have negotiated, and come out on top, with various MN authorities. The MN effers are now in support of administrately releasing their arrestees to ICE instead of ICE having to go out and do street arrests and door kicking.
I’d call that a win.

And there’s been more than one illegal alien hired to be a copper in USA. Recently. Seems like a town in Illinois hired an eastern Europa guy whose visa had expired, to be one of their coppers.

Maybe from a certain perspective, but the bottom line is that Waltz & Frey appear to have forced the Trump administration to back down. Remember, too, that after all the sound and fury, detentions and deportations are only a fraction of what they need to be in order to restore some semblance of normalcy to our cities, towns and neighborhoods.
Call me cynical, but it looks like to me that Trump is engaged in some political theater to pander to his base on the illegal immigration problem, without actually doing anything substantive. In plain terms, he isn’t doing what needs to be done. Instead, he is protecting his billionaire buddies who do not want the borders sealed and do not want all of that cheap, off-the-books labor to disappear.
There is a simple litmus test: Have there been any arrests of senior executives of firms knowingly hiring illegals, or any fines against such companies? The answer is that there have been none whatsoever.
The communists are winning this battle, just as they are winning so many others.

You said it better than I could have. This is all theater and pretending.
