Love acts 4:12, especially in the KJV language. Have been thinking about Acts a lot lately. The American Church for the most part has missed the whole point of Acts. The Churches talk about when and where and who, even contact tracing out everybody mentioned. They talk about the clothes they wore and modality of travel at the time, social customs and local laws, pull out travel maps, and on and on. Then they go home thinking I worshiped the Lord today, watch football and tell exactly zero people the Gospel of Jesus Christ for yet another week, while actual devils and the human agents of evil destroy their nation and civilization all around them while they wax sorrowful at the state of affairs thinking somebody ELSE, usually in government, should DO something to fix it.
What if, and call me crazy, every Christian led 10 people to the Lord this year, then teached those new believers how to lead 10 people to the Lord themselves? How do you get a Christian nation? Well, you make Christians. How do you get a civil civilization? Make people full of the Holy Spirit of God Almighty. I mean, you could turn the world upside down.
On a side note; if you’re Presbyterian or Postmillennial don’t be a smug jerk when somebody tries to put a track into your hand and ask you if you know whether you are going to heaven or not. He or she is not asking you about, or attempting to refute your understanding of when or where heaven is!!! He’s concerned for your eternal salvation. What’s the next verse after Acts 4:12 say? Ignorant and unlearned yet having been with Christ Jesus. That person may yet be asked to testify against you before the throne of God for your lack of brotherly love, one toward another. I do wonder if the dozens and dozens of smug postmil jerks I’ve encountered are even saved? And we have to assume not, since they can’t straightly articulate how it is that they know they have eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

When you fear the Lord you do not fear Man.

A wise policy.
Scripture clearly indicates that He (God) will use MEN to destroy your soul and body in the physical plane. You need not fear the Lord himself, but that which He sets upon you, here on earth.
I believe that in order to obey, you must first understand the instructions. Fear your own lack of understanding, for it is that which comes before the fall.
…..there is but ONE way.
We now watch as wise “men” become as a serpent… eating her own tail.
