Army Research Lab Shows Off “Third Arm”

Comments from a former Marine with combat experience in Fallujah.  I’ll try to keep it where web browsers don’t flag the site.

What the f***?  “It takes the weight off their arms.”  If I had a Marine tell me that I would punch him in the dick and make the entire platoon make fun of them.  Of course, they have a fat ass army retard practicing using it.

And this is what our tax dollars are going for.  Not logistics or how not to have convoys carrying my water and MREs getting blown up … but a big donkey dick attached to my waist because I’m a little bitch who can’t carry a weapon.

Imagine what I would look like trying to do squad rushes with that thing.  It’s new name is “donkey dick,” not third arm.”

    This supports women in combat!

Women are equal to men and with this “third arm”, they will be even more equal.

Someone’s going to make a fortune off of that thing, which is what the military is about these days, making some defense contractor rich as they pump out worthless equipment for the door kickers. Go Army!

But if it works with that brand new whiz-bang rifle/cartridge combination it will become wildly popular with the girls club known as REMF general army staff.

I thought that creative use of a good sling would do all that. I don’t see how that contraption helps anything.

    @Fred,

Not even remotely close. Those are just glorified shooting sticks but they are aptly named.

And they don’t attach to the weapon unlike the “donkey dick” which I see as a major encumbrance due to its semi-permanent attachment and weight. How is the soldier expected to engage in hand-to-hand combat with that thing attached to his weapon?

Speaking of weight, an M4 carbine fully kitted weighs what? 7-8 pounds? An M16 is maybe 10 pounds. Isn’t that why we send 20 y/o’s instead of 80 y/o’s to fight wars? Something about peak physical condition I believe.

These well paid government thinkers need to come up with ways to lighten the overall weight burden these kids have to carry instead of all this stupid shit that may get them killed.

Looks like it Transfers the Weight to the Hips and puts Leverage on the Back… Probably weighs 10# even if Carbonfiber construction.

It’s mindless rubbish like this that is the reason the ‘defense’ budget is hopelessly bloated, and We still don’t have Jet Fighters that can do Backflips and Hypersonic Nuclear-Powered Cruise Missiles and Submarines with Foot-Thick Titanium Pressure Hulls and….

Hey, Wait, if the Military didn’t have 900 + Bases in Countries not named the ‘United States’ maybe we could afford the Good Stuff…

Hey Moe….combat troops are not “kids”. They are adults. Time to get away from that adolescent reference of “kids” to young adults. Don’t ya think ? Of course unless one subscribes to young adults being on their parents insurance ’til age 26, they’ll always be children

No wonder millennials feel entitled. They’re always getting excuses made for them. They never have to grow up. Why should they.

    Pete,

    “This supports women in combat!”

You do not know how correct you are. I have dealt with numerous incidents of US Army female trainees with stress fractures to hips and lower extremities. Why ? Because they cannot physically handle a 50# (minimum) ruck, weapon, helmet, ammo, frags and other ancillary gear.

It is time to wake up and smell the physical and mental differences between the two sexes. Women are made to bake and bear children. Not fight wars of blood and steel. Of course there are those social justice warriors who believe in the demise and emasculation of American men. Many of those SJWs being the male of the species.

Glad to know you and other MEN are awake !
