New York Court Holds Stun Gun Ban is Not Unconstitutional, in Contravention of Caetano

Herschel Smith · 30 Mar 2025 · 2 Comments

Dean Weingarten has a good find at Ammoland. Judge Eduardo Ramos, the U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York,  has issued an Opinion & Order that a ban on stun guns is constitutional. A New York State law prohibits the private possession of stun guns and tasers; a New York City law prohibits the possession and selling of stun guns. Judge Ramos has ruled these laws do not infringe on rights protected by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. Let's briefly…… [read more]

308 Versus 223 At 1090 Yards

BY Herschel Smith
3 years, 10 months ago

The post title is correct.  That’s good shooting by both of them.

Of course, she’s shooting a very nice 223 rifle (SAKO) with a very long barrel (24″) along with a heavy bullet (80.5 grain Berger).  But still, that’s good shooting and a great job of taking the 223 out that far.

PanFaWar Conditions

Michael Yon on the Pandemic-Famine-War conditions.

China has shut down Magnesium smelters to save electricity during their energy crunch.

Without Magnesium, there is no Aluminum.  We are weeks away from shutting down.

87% of Magnesium comes from China, because it is impossible to build a new smelter in the EU, USA or Canada.

Yea, I know.

This affects everything from AR-15 lowers to automobiles.

Prepare for a time of dearth and scarcity in everything from machinery and repair parts to food.  But you knew that already.

Anthony Fauci: Satan’s Bag Man

BY Herschel Smith

Via Legal Insurrection.

Funded, of course, by the NIAID.  Nice job, jerk.

Further information.

According to the White Coat Waste Project, the Food and Drug Administration does not require drugs to be tested on dogs, so the group is asking why the need for such testing.

White Coat Waste claims that 44 beagle puppies were used in a Tunisia, North Africa, laboratory, and some of the dogs had their vocal cords removed, allegedly so scientists could work without incessant barking.

Bah, who needs legal requirements for torture when it’s so much fun?

Babylon Bee notes Fauci’s response.

“Puppy torture is science,” said Fauci angrily. “So is grafting baby scalps onto lab mice and engineering viruses that kill millions! I AM SCIENCE! I AM GOD!!!” Fauci then threw back his head and laughed maniacally at the sky.

Fauci insisted that his experiments are “super important”, and “real science.” He also defended some of his other experiments, such as the “Kitten Drowning Experiment”, the “Orphan Punching Experiment”, and the “Piranha Kiddie Pool Experiment.”

Remember boys and girls, Fauci is the one who wants you to wear masks and take the Vax.  He’s even confident that the Vax will be ready for kids aged 5-11 by November.

Josef Mengele would be proud to have known him.

The C-Clamp AR-15 Grip

Mike Gover discusses it.  While I like that he mentioned Kyle Lamb, I was under the impression from prior reading that the specops guys had essentially learned that grip from the gaming community, and then passed it down through the ranks.  Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Theological Ignorance

BY Herschel Smith
3 years, 10 months ago

Ignorance from Vox Day.

And while I am as skeptical as any atheist about those whose demono-calvinism interprets every unfortunate or unpleasant event as being the result of evil intervention in their lives – you know what I mean, the sort of individual who requests an exorcism because “I feel a little blue today” and believes the Lego brick he stepped on the night before was personally placed there by the Prince of Hell – there is a very strong stench of sulfur about literally everything related to both Covid and the vaxxes.

Good Lord.  This is so messy it’s hard to know where to begin.

First, I don’t know a single Calvinist who has ever requested an exorcism because “I feel a little blue today,” or for any other reason.  And Calvinists are neither Roman Catholics nor Pentecostals.

Second, Calvinists don’t interpret every unfortunate or unpleasant event as a result of evil intervention in our lives.  In fact, quite the contrary.  “Father fortune” and “Lady Luck” are evil notions, and the Holy Scriptures do not countenance notions of causation from unknown sources.

“For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not yet been done, saying, “My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.” Isaiah 46:9-10.  “We have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will,” Ephesians 1:11.

To be sure, God does allow His children to suffer for a period of time when they make poor choices, but always to their benefit.

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose,” Romans 8:28.

While we agree with him that there is something very wrong with the Vax, he sounds like a high school freshman when trying to write about things theological.

He says, ” … you know what I mean.”  No, I don’t know what you mean.  Nothing you said makes any sense at all.  It’s a mish mash of confusion, ignorance and poor writing.  It might be wise for him to steer clear of the more complex issues and focus on things he can understand.

Covid News And Analysis Update

BY Herschel Smith

There is far too much to lift a lot of prose out of each one, so mainly this will be links for further study.

Jon Rappoport.  Why is this substance in the Moderna COVID vaccine?

The right-hand side of the chart shows ingredients in the Moderna vaccine. The fifth ingredient down is “SM-102: heptadecan-9-yl 8-((2-hydroxyethyl) (6-oxo-6-(undecyloxy) hexyl) amino) octanoate.”

Now we go to a document published by the Cayman Chemical Company of Ann Arbor, Michigan: “Safety Data Sheet acc. to OSHA HCS.” (04/11/2021) [2]

This data sheet lists the effects of SM-102. Here is the opening note: “For research use only, not for human or veterinary use.”

European Journal of Epidemiology.

We investigate the relationship between the percentage of population  fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases across 68 countries and across 2947 counties in the US.

[ … ]

At the country-level, there appears to be no discernable relationship between percentage of population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days. In fact, the trend line suggests a marginally positive association such that countries with higher percentage of population fully vaccinated have higher COVID-19 cases per 1 million people.

Dr. Pierre Kory before the U.S. Senate: Ivermectin is 100% Cure For Covid.

Before It’s News: A comparison of official Government reports suggest the fully vaccinated are developing Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome much faster than anticipated.

Saturday Night Music

BY Herschel Smith
3 years, 10 months ago

In light of all the heavy things we have to discuss, it’s good to relax a bit and engross yourself in something other than trouble.  This is a Doobie Brothers classic, “Clear as the driven snow.”

It has all the marks of Doobie Brothers music: vocal harmonies, guitar counterpoint and contrapuntal, polyphonic arrangements, roaming bass line, multiple guitars, keyboard, and at least three percussionists.

The video is a bit grainy, but the music is the best of most of the videos of this piece out there.  Enjoy.
