The Pope is a Gun Controller
BY Herschel SmithBut you probably knew that anyway.
All gun control is wicked. It is the signal feature and characteristic of a tyrant. Weapons of defense and warfare is a God-given right, and defense of the home, hearth and family is a God-ordained DUTY commanded in the Scriptures.

Fortunately, I’m a Calvinist and the pope is irrelevant to me. He’s nothing more than an oddity or curiosity. But it is interesting that so many Roman Catholics stay in that church with such bad people, the one at the top claiming to speak ex cathedra.

I’m a Catholic and agree that the Church should stick to religious doctrine rather than butting in with their opinions. The previous pope was also a supporter of arms control, just not as vocal as the present pope.
When the Church defended and even participated in the illegal immigrant Open Border policies in the Obama – Biden years was when I noticed the differences the Church took. Prayers for illegal aliens to find a new home here ? Go the back of the line, we have a process here, at least before the POTUS changed policy without any laws supporting it.
Where were those ‘law upholding judges’ then ?
Why don’t I jump ship and join another religion ? I won’t change my core beliefs. I won’t leave the USA because I disagree with who is running the country for a limited time. The USA is the best location I can think of to have the freedoms I enjoy (for the moment). But I do keep a current passport current and up to date, just in case.

As a cradle Catholic, I agree the Pope should butt out of the 2A. Many of us TRAD’s have other issues with him and every pope since Vatican 2 but that is another story.
You being a self professed Calvinist – I challenge you to find a single Christian before the year 1500 (the birth of the Protestants) who did not believe in the sinlessness of Mary or the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
If you haven’t done so, read Four Witnesses: The Early Church in Her Own Words. You may just end your Calvinism.

Bad leader of the catholic church. Bad leader of the u.s.a., i.e. president potato head. Bad leaders everywhere.
But once one comes to realize that Jesus himself created the catholic church, well; one just doesn’t up and leave the only church in the universe started by the God of the universe. jrg (above) spoke of core beliefs. Me too. It is a core belief of the catholic faith that there is no salvation outside the catholic church. Another core belief is that when catholics consume what looks like a little white cracker, we are consuming the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus.
Last core belief I will share is that Jesus did not rant the words of John 6, over and over, while driving people away from him in droves, just for fun or entertainment. Hopefully this ties these core belifs together for you, and all your readers.
I pray so.

I’m with (former) Archbishop Vigano, the Catholic Church has been captured by Satan. That was why they excommunicated him and did not listen to and refute his argument. The once holy church is full of faggots and pedophiles.

This Pope has not spoken ex cathedra, that hasn’t happened in decades. Why would you say that?

@Gern,
I have been trained at the graduate level in reformation theology. Sorry, but “You may just end your Calvinism” isn’t going to happen.
