Probably “needed” them to power their command center or some bullshit reason. Never trust the government.
Bunch of hillbilly/good ole boys yacking back and forth… Start putting barrels to faces or tracking them to their homes and families, then you’ll get you stuff back… How many of those cops have children??? That’s right, a generator for a kid….
Some number years ago, maybe 2016, sheriffs deputies took generators that had been designated to provide power to traffic lights a major intersections to facilitate traffic flow and minimize crashes.
Took them HOME.

Survival situations bring out the best and worst in people. An individual might “know better” than to do something like this, but a group of people is different. If that group of people has any type of authority, either given by society or assumed, watch out.
“Civil assess forfeiture” laws were the thin end of the wedge, when they were first passed years ago, and now here we are.
Bravo has a point. Remember, police are screened for a disposition toward a disregard for their fellow man. In other words, criminal types are hired on purpose.
