Owning a gun isn’t a “God-given right.” It’s a slave-owning, misogynistic founding father-given right. I’m not against 2A, but be real – the Constitution was written by people! Today I’m filibustering a bill that would allow concealed carry without training or a permit

Of course, there are no commenters at TTAG that I saw who engaged the core argument.
There is so much ink spilled over these pages that recapitulating the case in the Holy Writ for rights being God-given would be wasteful time for most of my readers.
The constitution isn’t a source document for rights. It is a contract and covenant. Contracts and covenants have stipulations, blessings and punishments. The blessings are there for obedience, the punishments are there for disobedience.
The covenant and contract of the constitution has been broken, and it was so a long time ago (GCA, NFA, the Hughes Amendment, the Clinton AWB, red flag laws, background checks, the bump stock ban, permitting schemes, and on the list could go).
The only thing she tells the voters is that she intends to continue ignoring the covenant made with the American people. Very well. The people of Nebraska will do with that what they will.
In the mean time, I formally challenge Megan Hunt to a debate, virtual or any other way, over the singular topic, “Is owning a gun a God-given right.”
If she has the courage to accept the mission.

The Declaration of Independence is the philosophical cornerstone of our system. Anyone who does NOT hold as self-evident truth that all men are created equal and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights cannot — CANNOT — call themselves ‘Americans’.
Debate her or not, it matters not. You’re an American; she is not.

Further reading of her Wikipedia page reveals Megan is a Democrat (what a surprise) and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Intercultural Communication (aka; a degree in Word Salad).
Her election was historic because she likes to have sex with both men and women, which makes her LGBTQ.
Everything about her is incoherent, but that’s what makes her the perfect Democrat.
She fills most of the woke squares. The biggest prize is to falsely claim to be a tranny. Maybe tomorrow.
“Intercultural Communication” includes every RACE but no actual culture, such as Christianity. Intercultural Communication seeks to reduce God’s judgement at the Tower of Babel by bringing in a new One World system. Let me guess: So-called “Nebraska Senator” Megan Hunt made her anti-gun/anti-liberty remarks from behind a cordon of heavily-armed men guarding her, right? The hypocrisy of the communists/left is breath-taking. The truth of the matter is that they do not “hate” guns; in fact they love them. What they hate is that their opposition has them, i.e., ordinary Americans of the kind for whom she has contempt.
Mao Zedong, the tyrant who ran Communist China from its inception until his death in 1976, famously said: “Every Communist must grasp the truth, ‘Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.’ Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party.”
Whether Hunt realizes it or not, she embodies Mao’s sentiments perfectly.
