Even more and more with each passing day, he shows his true colors. What terrible judgment by GWB to nominate him.
WASHINGTON — The chief justice of the United States, John Roberts, warned Friday that the Supreme Court risks losing its own authority if it allows the existence of a law like Texas’ near-total abortion ban, which attempts to circumvent the courts.
In a strongly worded opinion joined by the high court’s three liberal justices, Roberts wrote that the “clear purpose and actual effect” of the Texas law was “to nullify this Court’s rulings.” That, he said, undermines the Constitution and the fundamental role of the Supreme Court and the court system as a whole.
The opinion was a remarkable plea by the chief justice to his colleagues on the court to resist the efforts by right-wing lawmakers to get around court decisions they dislike, in this case Roe v. Wade, the 1973 decision that made abortion legal in the United States, within limits. But in this case, his urgent request was largely ignored by the other justices on the court who were appointed by Republicans.
His point to them was that the court system should decide what the law is, and it should resist efforts like that of the Texas Legislature to get around the courts by limiting the ability of abortion providers to sue.
It is a basic principle, he wrote, “that the Constitution is the ‘fundamental and paramount law of the nation,’ and ‘[i]t is emphatically the province and duty of the judicial department to say what the law is.'” He cited as proof the landmark 1803 Marbury v. Madison case, which established the principle of judicial review, allowing the court to nullify laws that violate the Constitution.
“If the legislatures of the several states may, at will, annul the judgments of the courts of the United States, and destroy the rights acquired under those judgments, the Constitution itself becomes a solemn mockery,” he said, quoting the 1809 U.S. v. Peters case, which found that state legislatures can’t overrule federal courts.
He can’t get another vote to side with him and the rest of the communists on the court.
Funny, that statement I bolded. I learned in Civics class in elementary school that the Congress made laws rather than the judiciary. I guess he went to a different civics class than I did.
I can assure him, however, that the constitution is no solemn mockery. I would say though, with the majority of U.S. citizens, that the SCOTUS had become an unsolemn mockery, a gaggle of court jesters rather than court officers.
Imagine. All of this over the right to murder the unborn. Worship of Molech indeed. God judges the nation.

And seeing the fate of her late companion, she has already said she’s prepared to sing like a bird in order to remain living and above ground.
There is considerable speculation and evidence that Epstein’s operation was an elaborately-constructed “honey trap” – that is what such ruses are called in the intelligence-espionage world – designed to ensnare as many influential, wealthy and connected people as possible. Once trapped, most would do anything to avoid exposure, implication and criminal charges. That’s how a classic blackmail operation works.
Operation mounted by whom? That’s an open question: Plenty of people had the means and the motive, and there are a lot of governments, organizations and people who want to influence the U.S. federal government in a variety of ways, from the communist Chinese to the Israelis to the Arabs and goodness knows who else. It could even be an op staged by deep-state black ops assets right here on U.S. soil.
Why is Roberts a suspect? His behavior – both inside the court and elsewhere – has been very strange, according to reports. And speaking personally, I will never forget that “deer in the headlights” look on Robert’s face after his ruling on Obamacare. Naked fear and guilt in the man’s eyes.

God does indeed judge the nation. This is something that’s seriously neglected in the American Church, this understanding of federal headship under God.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” Romans 5:12
Most Christians accept that sin entered into the world by Adam, and death thereby became a reality, so we are all sinners and, so, everyone has an appointment with death. (Hebrews 9:27) The federal headship of Adam isn’t the only or end of federal headship but the beginning. He is the head of all men because all men are descended from him. Don’t like it? Too bad. You’re a sinner and you’re going to die to face the Judgment of God for your sin.
“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:11-12
There are numerous examples in the bible of a nation being judged for the wickedness of it’s leadership. But first, what of the federal headship of the man over his family?
As was Adam, further, it’s right there under that very law against child murder:
“And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. 3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name. 4 And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not: 5 Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.” Leviticus 20:1-5
God will put himself in opposition to your family (verse 5) for allowing the taking of innocent blood. When you allow sin to abound you are guilty too. This is the sin of omission, to allow or ignore sin. James puts it best:
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” James 4:17
Yes sin is personal and all sin is ultimately against Holy God, for He is the Judge of your sin, but the man as head of family has a duty that his wife and children do not become defiled.
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.” Ephesians 5:25-28
To Herschel’s point, in Jeremiah we find an example of national, or federal headship, under the judgments of Holy God for the taking of innocent blood. Jeremiah accuses the king by the word of God that he exercise righteous judgements to deliver the innocent and oppressed. God by the mouth of Jeremiah proclaimed national judgment against the king for allowing his people to sin so.
“Thus saith the Lord; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word, 2 And say, Hear the word of the Lord, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates: 3 Thus saith the Lord; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place. 4 For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people. 5 But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the Lord, that this house shall become a desolation.” Jeremiah 22:1-5
The bad news is that for the transgressions of your federal headship, you, by all accounts, we can only recon, that you all are coming under the judgment of Almighty God for this horrific genocidal wicked wicked sin of infanticide.
The good news, glory be to God, the gospel, is that the federal headship of Christ rules and reigns from one end of the heavens to the other. All power and authority having been secured by Him through the blood purchase of His church by the cross; Jesus Christ, having been tortured to death for your sin, and risen from the grave according to the Scriptures has made in himself a new head, of life and life eternal.
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Matthew 28:18
All power, not some power now and some later, but ALL power by the resurrection, having been now enthroned, made heir of all things, and seated in power, Jesus Christ, has made His enemies His footstool and is our new federal head.
“And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church” Ephesians 1:22
How could you ever be forgiven of your own sin to be made an joint heir to eternal life, and how could America ever be made right but by His exceeding love and mercy unto salvation?
“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:6-9
Roberts is the judge of nothing. We have our federal head, our Judge, who always rules true and just. Amen.
Not trying to drag anyone back under the law, but Roberts and his ilk, were they to be stoned to death, wouldn’t bother me in the slightest.
How could His face not be set against us? Only by returning to Christ will America be forgiven and the enmity with God be ended. Otherwise, it’s into the wastebin of history with you all. I wouldn’t count on a just human leader anytime soon. Under our covenant, it’s the people by their States that formed the union, therefore it is the people that must seek Jesus Christ for salvation, forgiveness, and mercy that God would set just leadership over us.

Honey pots have been used by various governments for centuries. It was the practice to use adult women and then get them into compromising relationships with powerful men. Yes, quite so. Governments, in particular rogue intelligence and black-ops agencies, literally get away with murder and all sorts of other mayhem that would horrify most people if they knew about it. We must not tar everyone with that particular brush.
In any human society, most people want to lead upstanding, good lives or at least want to be left alone and to leave others alone. It’s a small fraction of the people who make trouble for everyone else. Unfortunately, those kinds of people are drawn as if by a powerful magnet to the types of employment and careers that give them the opportunity to control and manipulate others. And cause all sorts of other kinds of mischief.

Roberts, as with any man, lacks the capacity for righteousness. All men fall toward sin as a dropped rock under gravity.
Only by the convicting Spirit of God in the heart of the believer, having been begotten again into the righteousness of the the Holy One of God by His blood can a man have choice to include a way for avoiding sin.
So blinded by sin is the mortal man outside of Christ, that all the day long he supposes himself to walk upright when in reality all he accomplishes is the heaping of burning coals upon his own head. “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one” Romans 3:10
Roberts sin has earned him death. Death for all men abides outside the gift. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

With due respects, I have made no such assumption. Merely noted the application of Pareto’s Law to human affairs. Commonly known as the 80-20 rule. It is also verifiably a historical fact that mass movements of all kinds, whether we’re talking about Islam or cultural marxism, are driven and steered by a small cadre of “true believers,” fanatics who drag everyone else along in their wake. This phenomenon is also a manifestation of Pareto’s Law.
I’ll give you this much: There are a lot of people who simply wish to go along to get along, not make waves, conform to others – whatever you wish to call it – these de facto herd animals can be led astray and into evil if they are not careful. They may be good people in a certain sense, or at least inoffensive and harmless in most ways, but they end up aiding and abetting evil because they do not critically examine the choices they are being asked to make.
But – I still maintain that it is morally-wrong to tar an entire nation and people for malign actions of the few. Let me flip that on its head: Do you believe that the people of the United States, as a whole – all 330 million of us or whatever the present figure is – are evil? Or is it a subset – including the government and big-tech companies – which are doing wrong and committing acts of evil?
This is a profound question, by the way, and one which has raged within the historical community virtually since the end of WWII, namely was the whole of Germany guilty of the crimes of the regime, or were some Germans more-guilty of the evils of that time than others?
Clearly, the relatively small cadre – Pareto’s Law again – of fanatical Nazis (who, it is estimated, at the top level numbered only a few thousand people) could not have done what they did – without at least some degree of acquiescence and cooperation by the German people. But equally clearly, not every German was a Nazi. Resolving these types of questions was the task of the de-Nazification process after the war, including the Nuremberg Tribunals.
Getting back to the question at hand, the checks-and-balances originally built into our (U.S.A.) society by the Founders were designed with the fallen and imperfect nature of man in mind. As Kant said of human nature, “From such crooked timber as humankind is made of nothing entirely straight can be made.”
The very reason they designed the system they did was as an attempt to prevent or at least minimize the abuses of authority and power that inevitably come about when humans are involved.
A man like John Roberts is able to do the wrong things he has done precisely because the checks against abuse of judicial power have been inadequate to the task of controlling the “tyrants in black robes,” as some have called the justices of SCOTUS. The Founders never meant the Supreme Court to be the last word in anything, but it didn’t take long for the court to rule itself as such in “Marbury vs.Madison” less than fifty years after the founding of the republic.

The Lord Jesus is our High Priest, forever. As High Preist He proclaims judgments, accuses men and nations of sin, offers grace and mercy, and instructs men in righteousness. This is the pastoral model. David foresees the day of Christ’s reign beyond the cross by looking to the days of Abram under Melchizedek. Whether Melchizedek is Christ or a human type doesn’t affect the instruction in righteousness we are to understand.
(The dispensationalists so called age of reason in the pre Mosaic Law time of Abraham isn’t a good understanding. There was never a time of reason. Men are completely without reason compelled by sin and depravity all the day long. Grace was God’s great gift, and has been. Grace in life, grace in salvation, grace in chastisement, grace in death. For even before the flood, Genesis 6:8 tells us “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” David and the writer of Hebrews both understood that the Law was only ever a temporary covenant with the Hebrew people because of its conditional nature. Set before them were blessings and cursings. No man could, nor can, keep the law. It was only a matter of time that the separate and distinct Mosaic conditional covenant with those specific people would end at the coming of Christ who did complete the Law. God, by His grace, allowed David to see that day that the elders, by faith, longed and hoped to have (Hebrews 11). The Law is canon however, and fit for instruction. Even the so called dispensation of grace is strange. I’m a gentile, I was never under the law. My people have always been at the mercy of God under the Noahic covenant (Genesis 9). To Abraham was given a promise, a covenant by faith, that was brought in by Christ’s resurrection, the promise of eternal life to all people, Jews and gentiles, that would believe.)
So anyway, Christ as our High Preist, has set a model for pastoral leadership. Human Priestly headship also affects those under the Pastors charge.
“Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. 14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord, 15 Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.” Joel 1:13-15
Because the people were allowed to err the Priests could only lament the Day of the Lord. (The Day of the Lord is always judgment language. It has nothing to do with a so called rapture in second Peter!)
The priestly office under the New Covenant with all people:
“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:1-8
Christians often lament how the churches were full after the WTC was attacked in ’01, but then the people drifted away again a few short weeks later. Why? The priests had no answer. They’re not God’s men, they’re corporate CEOs. Real priests of God would have already been warning about the pervasiveness of sin, how God would judge the people and nation, how only Christ can save. And that’s exactly what they should have told all those who appeared looking for answers from God’s men: this is your fault, you’ve allowed sin to abound in your family’s, Your workplaces, your pathetic pursuits of comfort and a life of recreational activities. But they didn’t do this because they had made the church house a life of recreational activities for the busyness of the building debt repayers, all the while neglecting the commission of Christ to make all the world bend the knee at His name.
Someone told me recently that I shouldn’t judge people. Jesus is the Judge and in fact we don’t even make the accusation, the Holy Spirit of God convicts the hearts of men. Our job as believers is to simply point out what the word of God says. If that hurts people’s little feelings then too bad.
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18
“Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto” 1 Peter 2:7-8
The truth of Jesus Christ is offensive to the disobedient. Pastoral headship is a calling of God, a very serious thing. It’s not a career as CEO! For heaping false pastors to yourselves your “Church” and nation will, we can only recon, be judged.
“A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Jeremiah 5:30-31

“Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.” Ezekiel 22:26
The churches are full of unrepentant sinners. Dear men, church is for believers. And the lost are to be evangelized. The American Church has flipped the commission on its head; they now preach to each other and minister to the lost while telling nobody the Gospel. This is wholly opposite of the mission of the New Testament church. We are to put a difference between the clean and the unclean.
The lost need salvation in Christ. Not a country club, not an example of how the well adjusted live, they need redemption by the blood of Jesus Christ.
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
“So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.” Nehemiah 8:8
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation. Salvation for the soul, for kings, and for nations. And by God’s great redemptive plan, the gospel is supposed to be given by His men. Where the priests fail the people perish. Proverbs 29:18 and Hosea 4:6
