That’s what one highly placed source on Capitol Hill told me just hours ago as the fight for gun control is being waged behind the scenes and behind closed doors with a vengeance!

… the backstabbing moderates in the Republican conference like Marco Rubio, Mitt Romney, and Lindsay Graham do their best to convince the Republicans to ‘offer up a common-sense compromise so we do something on guns.’
And that’s why Florida Republican Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott are the lead sponsors on S. 292, a massive ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ spending bill that bribes state legislatures into enacting this law at the state level, with taxpayer dollars!
We’ll get to see just how serious the states and counties are when they declare themselves 2A sanctuaries.
All it will take is the right sort of highly publicized shooting designed to tug the heart strings and enough “Republicans” will flip and vote in favor of gun control. It is just a matter of time, the Senate GOP and the SCOTUS aren’t going to save us.
Until you see actual Federal badged thugs arrested and jailed in states that adopt “sanctuary” status for violence against state residents for violating magical Federal laws on gun possession and self-defense, no state or county or city is doing anything but blowing smoke and virtue signaling.
I love how everyone on the left is moderate, and everyone on the right is extreme.
They are not “Republicans.” They are just the “R” wing of the Uniparty.
A real state sanctuary against federal tyranny law would specify that the state would not allow the enforcement of federal laws that violate the state’s constitution.

Face it folks – this aint gonna end pretty. Either we roll over and take it, or we fight back. Either Orwell’s vision of the future or we make 1776 look like a church picnic. Cant see any other outcomes. Certainly hope Im wrong…

Aren’t these people supposed to be REPRESENTING the constituents? When was the last time Rubio or Scott asked ANY Fl resident if thats what they want to happen? I’ll wait.
It all comes down to whether your local Law Enforcement will follow orders or not.
They can rant and rave at the national level and pass all the unconstitutional laws they want to, but without local LEO’s cooperating they’ll just get shot trying to enforce them.
