Or the war on alcohol. And they pulled out all the stops with prohibition. Via WRSA, this article at Slate describes “The little-told story of how the U.S. government poisoned alcohol during Prohibition with deadly consequences.”
From an insightful comment to the ridiculous troll. This comment was received into spam a few days ago from someone named John Q. Patriot concerning Ashli Babbit (I won’t supply his IP).
Never forget she died storming the capitol draped not in the flag of her country, but in the flag of the man inciting insurrection.
Insurrection. He uses that word, but I don’t think he understands what it means. Anyway, that does bring up an interesting point worthy of future discussion, that being the pledge of allegiance to flags, the biblical view of lawful oaths and vows as discussed in the Westminster Confession of Faith, and so on.
This is fertile ground to be plowed from a theological perspective, but not now. This will take time and effort.

Considering the First Commandment of Holy God as we read the words of Christ, why would anybody swear at all by that flag. That flag represents globohomo mass murdering usury wickedness. America is the porno producer and exporter to the world, drone strike producer and exporter to the world, central banking (usury) producer and exporter to the world.
Allegiance would require fealty, which would require worth on the part of that which one swears his pledge to. America’s good value to the world has been exhausted by the pursuit of global empire at gun point, to bring a global debt system of slavery upon all men. Might as well pledge to the homo flag. I can’t in good conscience be pledged to Lincoln’s flag.
Ps. Don’t forget the war on obesity while you eat yet another of your FDA recommended 11, that’s ELEVEN, servings of carbohydrates today. And the war on poverty, how’s that going? Seen any of the videos of the thousand person homeless encampments up and down the west coast?
In the war on guns, Antifa will likely have CIA backing for materials. You should learn to run an AK, maybe some African nation will supply them to you.
As to insurrection; they might be right. Consider what government we do have, and what the so called leaders consider it, approved by the American people over 150 years now, so yes, wanting a free and fair election probably is insurrection, not against the supposed form of government but surly yes, against the actual form and persons of the United States government as it sits right now. Things are that bad.
