One Brit’s Perspective

BY Herschel Smith
3 years, 5 months ago

The perspective of one Brit.  I don’t know how many understand this.

But how wrong they are. How dangerously wrong they are. The anger of Trump’s supporters is white hot, it is incendiary, it is real and it is entirely, eminently justifiable, and it is not the anger of the loser, it is the anger of the wronged and is about so much more than Trump, this is about the democratic future of the United States of America. When a country reaches the point of such legal corruption and such moral degeneracy that democracy can be overturned in full view of a complicit and unquestioning media and liberal establishment there is very little guarantee that democracy will ever recover. This is why the anger is at boiling point, and even now, the left cannot understand what they have done.

He understands the danger the corruption has caused for America better than the people who caused it, or aided it, or who simply looked the other way.

We quit caring what the Brits say around 1783. Currently ALL Brit males have been castrated. Mooslems use their woman as sex toys and what’s their response? NADA.

Well, some may not like what he says because he isn’t one of us but

I think what he said is “spot on”. I just hope the President is really the
4D chess player some say he is and can dance us between the raindrops.

The comments of Brad and Fred are some of the worst examples of idiocy I have seen in some time, and that is saying something. Quit caring what the British say? Hardly. We have fought shoulder to shoulder with the British since 1917, and before that they financed our industrial growth throughout the 19th century; what is good in our government came from England. To speak so rudely of the one country in the world we can depend on is stupidity without a name. As for their women being sex toys of Muslims, seen American women lately? They will screw anything that moves, including simians. As for Fred, for your information, people are DOING things across the country to protest the mess we are in. I suppose you expect them to starting blasting away with AR-15’s right from the start, eh? That will come, Fred boy.

    Civil disobedience isn’t “doing anything”?

Too many suffer from normalcy bias to see what it is coming. It’s going to be Yugolsavia Part Deux. Think of all the small businesses that are being destroyed and the glut of incoming forecoming foreclosures.

The author makes the basic mistake of calling the United States a democracy when it is a republic. The push to make the country a mob/majority rule democracy is the root of the problems.

I’d suggest Fred, Brad and few other commenters take a second look at the article transcript / video at its source (it is somewhat easier to read):

    https://gatesofvienna.net/2020/11/coup-detat-in-america-a-limey-viewpoint/

Yes, J J the USA is a democratic republic but the author mis-characterizing the USA a “democracy” does not steal anything from his thesis that “liberal Democrats” are mostly wholly unaware of how good they have it and what they take for granted, and thus are at risk of losing.

I am no Anglophile, and I believe that the British government has had far to much influence over our government for the last two + centuries. But, it is “foreigners” who can see clearer than most Americans (including those that complain that no one ever takes action while they grumble and pontificate).

In fact I find hope in this Limey’s concern and fears; as I take solace in the fears of Venezuelans, Cubans, Slavs, Kurds, Koreans, Chinese and others who are shouting out in fear “It’s happening, AGAIN !”

Fred, one excerpt from the article you apparently skimmed over:

“Democratic politics replaced battle and war in the West, but it has always been understood that democratic politics is war by other means and that if democracy is removed from politics then we can only go back to bloody battle and bloody war.”

Would any of you really rush the day when all communication among adversaries stopped ? …

    @Sisu,

Yea. I try to make a fundamental point, to wit, that a Brit gets a point that the American progs don’t.

And readers nickel and dime his wording. I don’t get it. Honestly, we couldn’t agree on the BBQ sauce for the meat if we were staving to death.

@Fred: “Nobody is going to DO anything.”

How dare you, sir? Do nothing? Ha! Many ill-tempered e-mails will be written, some internet posts will be downright miffed, and there will be many threats of “Sooner or later, if they keep pushing us, someone, somewhere, might do something someday.”

Oh, and surrender and collaboration are also “things,” which our noble leaders are already busily engaged in.

    So Fred,

Pray elucidate as to your “plan of action”.

What do you think the first steps that should be taken are?

Which of these steps have you taken?

    We’re eagerly awaiting your report.
