Matt Bracken: The 2020 Virginia Showdown

AP:

… in all of history there has never been a civil war where, at the outset of hostilities, the resisting indigenous population was armed to the teeth with rifles capable of making 500 to 1,000 yard aimed precision shots. Never.

[ … ]

I’m simply not aware of any previous civil war where tens of thousands of aggrieved citizens began the struggle armed with rifles capable of making 500 yard and greater precision shots. This is an equation changer. Gun raids will not be possible for long if law enforcement convoys are taken under accurate fire en-route to and from gun confiscation operations, and roadside car-search checkpoint duty becomes a suicide mission. Never forget what happened to the British redcoats on the famous 1775 gun confiscation raids at Concord and Lexington, and perhaps more importantly, remember what happened to them during their retreat to Boston.

I simply don’t know where this is all headed yet, and reiterate that it depends on the will of the people who have shown up to support the 2A sanctuary resolutions.  Where is the line in the sand?

One thing I’m sure of, however, is that the collectivists will not budge.  “Can a leopard change its spots?”  It will be decision time very soon.

How can people, how can AMERICANS not know where the line in the sand is. It is at the six commandment; the duty to protect life. The deprivation of the means of making war is an act of war. When they come for the guns, they are making war on you. This is an historical, biblical, 2A, and doctrinal fact of war. It is war doctrine!!! How can anybody who owns a gun not know this? Red Flag Laws are the deprivation of the means of making war, an act of war, IT IS THE LINE, it is the weapons seizures. It’s exactly the same way the Nazis and Commies did it. What’s not to understand? The 2A is no right at all if you forsake the DUTY of the six commandment, and fail to understand that Holy God is making war doctrine plainly evident. Ugh.

If you won’t fight you pisseth upon the Law of God!

No, these leftist “leopards” won’t “change their spots”…but they can be dissuaded from an unwise attempt to advance. Their model is Lenin: “Probe with the bayonet. If you meet steel, withdraw. If you meet mush, push!” The question of the hour is whether armed Virginians have that steel, and whether Northam and his cronies will recognize it.

  3. On January 3, 2020 at 10:14 am, Fred said:

We don’t want the line to be right where it is and has always been because we care. We don’t want to fight, we want to be left in peace to enter into what and what manner of season the Lord would have for us now. We don’t want war because we love our families and so we seek to rationalize another way. That’s good, normal, even healthy. There is a simple 3 step plan:

    1. You are identified.*
    2. You are disarmed
    3. You are bulldozed into a trench

If you wait until 2 it will be too late, and that’s why the guns and powder are the logical, rational line, as much as we don’t want it, as much as we desperately want another way, but none the less, that is the line. So now I’ve put it in a manner that non believers can also understand.

I would recommend, and I’m quite serious, that anybody who reads this write those 3 steps down. This helps us, humans, to take an abstraction or notional concept or mental picture and place it into the language center of our brain which brings a thing more fully to our awareness committed memory. Your mind will then automatically, even if not consciously, recall these steps. Write those 3 steps down, read it out loud back to yourself. I know it seems childish, but it’s not as childish as continuing to wonder where the line is.

And so, if we leave it to later, our civilization dies at our hands by sloth. Live with that?

*(You just hesitated! You asked; why and how, I know that you did. You are labeled crazy, for now, but we know that’s not the end, you have a gun and therefor a power that they can’t have over you, that’s THE problem, you plus your gun! You with no gun, no problem. Them with a gun, no problem. Please see that analyzing this step is a ridiculous waste of time because you attempt to rationalize your enemies thoughts using your own known beliefs and belief system. Stop this, it’s stupid. Although some make good money at and have popular channels doing it, it’s a waste of time. Be a doer not a talker. Why – they want you dead. How-by any means.)

That means the line in the sand was Roe v Wade: abortion. That’s still the number one priority behind following God’s will.

Go watch The Silent Scream and see the ultrasound of the baby fighting to get away from the suction needle. I forgot all about abortion until I saw that. Now I know it’s the only priority behind always putting God first in my thoughts, which my flesh is always trying to take first place above and forget about.

The line in the sand… moves.

Every time we allow “just a little” freedom to be taken. Every time we allow a skoshi bit of common sense to escape our laws. Every time we don’t defend a minority. Every time we submit to another little bit of infringement. Every time we allow our neighbor to be hauled off for breaking a law we agree with; but the law is inherently unjust. Our line in the sand… moves.

We all have drawn lines in the sand. We all (many? most?) back away and draw new lines. It is only when our backs are against the wall do we say, “No more!”.

So, next time you read an article in the MSM about some “wacko” who violently opposed arrest because s/he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt; think maybe that person’s line in the sand got backed off once too often?

    or something like that…

But when our backs HAVE been pushed against the wall because we moved our line in the sand once too often; reckon we’ll fight like cornered junkyard dawgs? (Think “momma bear protecting her cubs!”)

Ultimately the question isn’t “Do you have a line in the sand?”, the question should be “Where’s your wall, and who’s watching your back?”.

I wasn’t’ here for Roe. I wasn’t there at the inception of the Federal Reserve which violates the law of a Just Balance. And I wasn’t there at the passing of the 19th amendment which violates God’s law of the man as head, but I’m here now!

Imagine the watch lists I’m on as you read this, and know that I know, that there is a higher Law:

  9. On January 4, 2020 at 9:51 pm, Paul Scales said:

The line is abortion not because it’s our line, which does move as we are always changing, but because God does not change and that is His line in the sand. Recall why He told the Israelites to slaughter entire cities (they passed their sons and daughters through the fire for centuries) including all the cattle, children and babies in at least a couple instances.

Look at Judah in 70AD when the Romans sieged Jerusalem: Jews killing and eating their own children and so on (the ones who didn’t heed Christ and take off when the armies were on the horizon). God does not respect persons.

Take note the stage we’re at here in the West, and the East also. Abortion is rampant, and the other societies are Islamic. The end is pretty close. Pray to God about what to do about your taxes which are at least symbolically going toward passing our sons and daughters through the fire.

We are judged. The sentence will be handed down. I’ve zero doubt. I love it when an effort returns back as evidence of it finding purchase even if/when not even several times removed but by wholly other sources, for there is one God and one Mediator. Thank you, Mr. Scales. You should hang out here with us. You would both bless and be blessed.

    Fred – and *all* :

“IF you are NOT on some “watch list” somewhere, by now, you are not alive, or, at least, not living a true, value-filled life.”
    – attribution unknown (believed to be Claire Wolfe).

Being on a “watch list” is a badge of honor! It shows that the Elites/TPTB thought enough of the POWER of that person(s) words or political activity, that it had to take note of it all. In a way, it could be beneficial to get on every “watch list” possible (lotsa ways to do that). This causes ‘The System’ concern, confusion and consternation, as Elites/TPTB prefer to attack and infringe the Rights of Patriots who nobody knows, ever heard of, or care about. Elites/TPTB tend NOT to go after someone (such as a ‘gadfly) who is renown and who could – and would – cause a very big stink for them …

Counter examples and thoughtful rebuttals encouraged.
