U.S. Marine Corps: Ready For War?

BY Herschel Smith

The Washington Post:

In a handwritten statement, the recruit recalled that she tried to tell other recruits to slow down while they were moving in formation, upsetting the senior drill instructor. The recruit could not recall whether the Marine pushed her arm or the weapon itself.

“I knew I was in the wrong for overstepping when I shouldn’t have, but I wasn’t used to anyone messing with the weapon,” the recruit wrote.

The senior drill instructor later found the recruit on a bathroom bench at night writing to a former Reserve Officer Training Corps instructor, a sergeant major, about the incident.

She was Pvt. Raheel Siddiqui.  What do you think, readers?  Is this the kind of Marine Corps necessary for defending America?  Are they ready for war with anyone?

The disembowelment of America proceeds apace.

In my experienced opinion I believe the DoD which includes every branch of service to include reserve components is rotten to the core ! It’s mission is no longer winning on the battlefield. Rather, it is implementing social justice and communism.

DoD is filled with social justice scoundrels not only military, but many of their civilian hirelings. Today, while our nation’s borders are under enemy attack fUSA is spending blood and treasure in the Mideast….for what ? In the meantime 18 year old male recruits cannot do 3 push-ups while 19 year old female “warriors” cannot hump 30#, 3-miles without stress fractures.

Verify your zero….on EVERY longarm you possess. The upheaval is coming.

Yes, I think they are ready, providing the enemy kindly agree to avoid pushing their arm, messing with their weapons, threatening or abusing them in any way (sexually, verbally, by posture, by the use of inapropriate gestures, and so on).

In each of the ‘incidents’ described by the WAPO I see a valuable tool and an objective being met. This is especially true in the case of the gas. If a recruit does not fully experience the affects of the gas or denies same, immediately sending them back through is absolutely the right decision. In fact, I suspect, that in each reported instance listed, the real reason for a report being made is very much because the training technique used WAS EFFECTIVE. That an emotional response was offered by the recruits instead of an understanding by the recruit that the training is necessary to potentially save their life is as much an indication of low intelligence as anything else.

The U.S. Military “went Full Retard” Many Years ago, when at the West Point Academy, the Obstacle Course Walls and other Fun Items were ‘cut down’ so that the Little Girls could ‘qualify’. The Male Cadets went out one night and Painted all the reduced Obstacles Pink, and were promptly Disciplined for the Prank. Since Then, All Other Measures of Physical and Mental Performance have steadily been Lowered to ‘accommodate’ weaker individuals.

Standards must bear a Meaningful Relationship to the Tasks Expected, or the Failures will be Predictable, and in this case, Bloody. Sadly, the few Remaining Soldiers will bear the brunt of Defending these Failures from the Enemy.

DanIII has it Spot-On with saying the Military “…mission is no longer winning on the battlefield. Rather, it is implementing social justice and communism.”

If one wants to See how an Army of Patriots for their Nation Trains Effectively, look for Pictures and Vids of the Russian Spetsnaz training and qualification Tests. Soldiers get Beat Up Bloody, (accidentally) Shot, and suffer (The Horror!) of Supervisors Yelling, Kicking, and Punching them as they take the Test. THIS is how an Army Trains, they Make it Real and Really Unpleasant, because Combat is Worse.

Eh – Most female Marines I met were completely useless so it’s hard to get upset about how they are trained. The fact they are now commingled into some combat classes is what has damaged the Corps’ ability to win battles (beyond the waste of money and effort used to recruit and train the women).

@Gryphon, word to the wise to never go full retard.

You know, some folks over at WRSA troll Matt Bracken about his opinion regarding the (((Synagogue of Satan))). I know some here don’t like that site but there is good info there, even in the comments if one cares to slog through the Bullsh** (the island lord of the tfA-t notwithstanding). Matt is a stand up guy, I defended him there and will continue to do so everywhere because he was KEY to talking my son out of enlisting in his words “…the homofascist experiment of the .mil (son wanted to be a pararescue jumper). That trip to the local recruiting office was epic. My retired ex-Army buddy was called up at 47 to go to the sandbox to be a doorkicker. The recruiting officer called me liar – I dialed my buddy and let the phone ring. He would not take the call and you could have heard a pin drop with the other 8 guys in the office behind me listening to the convo. Matt is Aces in my book and his fiction and essays are priceless re food for thought in understanding how an event could play out. His first volume of EFaD played out in my old AO and spoke to OPSEC and FREEFOR countermeasures. Matt rocks.
