Jennifer Bair is a 25-year-old resident of Belvedere Lane in Palm Coast. She owns a beagle called Daisy, which she takes on walks in her neighborhood or in her backyard, on a leash, as was the case Sunday. Bair started carrying a gun after a neighborhood pit bull charged her and her dog on a previous occasion.
On Sunday, as she was walking Daisy in her backyard, the pit bull, known as KimK, charged her again, according to a Flagler County Sheriff’s report, “barking and snarling.”
Bair took out her Bersa 38 mm handgun and fired.
You saw it right. I’m certain that I haven’t seen this particular 38 mm handgun in any gun show or store I have visited. On the other hand …
lol. Where can I find one of these 38mm hand canons?
Actually, you can get pretty close, if you want to go through the NFA hassle, or join the army, or get hired as a .mil ordnance tech.
The “new” M320 40mm grenade launcher which replaced the M203 can either be attached to the M16/M4 series of rifles, or with the addition of a collapsible buttstock, be a stand alone weapon.
Since it has a decently sized pistol grip, one could remove the buttstock and have one dickens of a single shot handgun.
Personally, the idea crossed my mind to try it once, just for the giggle factor, but thankfully, my better sense prevailed.
You may have broken your wrist.
Maybe you could put one of those Sig Arm Brace thingy’s on it and break your whole arm, or would that suffice to support it?
I don’t think “may” is in the equation. I believe “would” is the correct word.
That, or the thing would’ve flung itself out of my hand and conked me on the noggin…or both. :o
The fact that she can handle a 38mm handgun may indicate that she can beat anyone in hand-to hand combat. Just one punch…
