LAPD Officers Shoot And Kill Trader Joe’s Manager

BY Herschel Smith

Randall sends this.

Here we go with backstop again.  The shooting should never have happened.  The officers didn’t know what was behind or around their intended target, and obviously missed.

I don’t want to hear another damn word from the controllers about how armed citizens are a danger to society.  Not … one … more … word.

    Pretty sad seeing all the badge lickers over on Brietbart defending this.

    I’m sure they would all defend me if I did this.

    @Chris Mallory,

    Did you read a different Brietbart article? The comments I saw were mostly opposed to the cop’s actions.

    https://www.breitbart.com/california/2018/07/25/watch-lapd-officers-kill-trader-joes-shootout-armed-suspect/

    Moe, the ones I read were mostly the same “walk a mile”, “don’t have to take fire”, “brave hero”, “keep us all safe” stuff that your typical “conservative” will vomit up on reflex.

  6. On July 28, 2018 at 9:01 am, James said:

    I agree with Moe in majority of comments at Brietbart seemed to find some fault in this shooting.

    I will say it yet again(said it a lot lately)why the hell are not ALL cops not live fire trained for a few days during their training with refreshers say once/twice a year?!You going to carry a gun and have all the legal power behind you know how the hell to use it tough situations.I get we cannot afford to have all cops trained to say delta/hrt levels but some very basic live fire scenarios believe would go a long way towards cutting down on these incidents.

    If this guy was shooting at one of us, and we were armed with a handgun, would ANY of use readers here return fire?

    I knew a fellow who was into a sport of scenario shooting. There would be targets of bad guys and good guys and the participant would need to quickly get the bad guy targets without harming any good guy targets. He said that whenever they managed to lure a cop to join then, the cops were so embarrassingly incompetent that they never showed their faces again.

  10. On July 28, 2018 at 11:29 am, Michael (another one) said:

    LAPD “shares the families pain.” (Sorry, Fred, I stole your line)

    Oh, so the LAPD, the individual officers, and the chief will be personally paying out millions in compensation? Oh, they won’t? Oh, right, you guys NEVER take responsiblity for your screw-ups.

    Ridiculous..and disgusting.

    Oberfuehrer Moore: STFU. You do NOT share the pain of the families. You may have some transient embarrassment, but you will not experience soul-shattering grief for years like her loved ones will. All of the involved cops went home safe (thank God) and it was just a Mundane who got killed, so don’t worry about it. Any torts will be covered by the taxpaying peons and the cops will walk. I think if I had a serious situation like a home invasion I would deal with it and call the cops after it’s all over with but the shouting to avoid getting shot by them.

    As always, “qualified immunity” = carte blanche and the police are always right, just ask Mas Ayoob.

    @Chris Mallory,

    Yeah, I understand. It’s a PITA to read 1,300+ comments (I didn’t). Breitbart readers tend toward the “deplorable” end of the bell curve but there’s always people who see all cops in the best light, even when it’s obvious that they had an “Oh, shit” moment.

    “….just ask Mas Ayoob.” And since you brought him up….

    For the record, I wouldn’t urinate down Ayoob’s throat if his lungs were on fire !

    In closing, I say again:

    There are no good cops !

    Chris Mallory @ 1320,

    Recently, Mr Gunsngear posted a You Tube video regarding his getting pulled over by a badged thug. Gunsngear gave accolades to the cop of how “professional” the badged thug was. Reading the comments there by the multitude of statist copsuckers was astounding ! I would venture a reasonable guess that the copsucking commentary at Gunsngear’s You Tube posting was 10x the number at the aforementioned Breitbart article.

    Giving absolute authority without responsibility is a recipe for disaster. City counsils can reign in this nonsense, but i get the impression that every time a councilman pokes their head into “cop business”they are told to butt the f out and let the “professionals” handle it. After all, they are heroes, none of us know what they go through – to which I say, bullshit. If you can’t handle it, get out. If the response to royal f#*&ups is “walk a mile” then the respondent is saying they are emotionally driven and wholly unsuitable for peace officer work. I saw a cop out and about and we were heading into a store at the same time. He got out of his cop car in civvies and had that stupid license plate on the front that said 1* , I asked what it meant and he said “one ass to risk.” I mentioned we could have used that in the army and he just shut down and shuffled into the store ahead of me. Inflated opinion much?
