Support for individual firearms rights is strong and has been so for some time in Alberta. Depriving the Canadians there of those few remaining FA liberties may just be the straw which breaks the proverbial camel’s back.
The Second Amendment rights Americans enjoy are one of the things Alberta residents find so attractive about leaving Canada and joining the U.S. Canadian police going door-to-door confiscating the remaining arms in Alberta isn’t going to make those preferences go away; indeed it may cause them to become even stronger.
