I’ve known what blackface is for a long time, Al Jolson wore it in a movie long ago. Some of my acquaintances wore it for Halloween costumes.
I’ve never worn blackface even one time just as I’ve never gone to a costume party in drag. My most risque costume was as a flasher. No nudity was involved.
Ralph Northam is a patent idiot with his unenforceable gun laws on the books now and planned for the start of the new Virginia legislative session in January 2020. Apparently he thinks that, unlike both Connecticut and New York, that he’ll be able to enforce those gun confiscation laws in Virginia. That’s despite the fact that 60 counties in Virginia, almost two thirds, have passed Second Amendment sanctuary resolutions and in one case an ordnance, and in one case a militia resolution.
Northam isn’t Brer Rabbit, he’s not going to like hitting that tar baby.

I wouldn’t even consider it. It’s not who I am. God made me the way He made me, so why would I try to change that?
