Tim Harmsen of MAC had something similar a while back.
As a kid, my father always got the annual Gun Digest, which I scoured repeatedly, looking for.the different and interesting.
There wasn’t much detailed that wasn’t on the US market, however, IIRC.
Ian’s channel now satisfies that curiosity, but with the benefit of looking at specimens from around the world.
Makes me appreciate the genius of Stoner even more. Thanks for posting this excellent video.
Tim Harmsen at the linked article says (15 min mark) that he hardly ever oils his BCG and basically runs it dry while wiping it with a dry rag every once in a while and it never malfunctions with the carbon buildup acting as a dry lube…because…wait for it…Stoner wasn’t an idiot. So, um, there’s that.
