We’re The Only Ones Less Than Perfect
BY Herschel SmithIt took 19 hours for the Williamsburg Police Department and The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s office to tell the media one of YPSO’s deputies “accidentally” discharged his service weapon during a traffic stop.

“Anything than a less than perfect response regarding an interaction between police and citizens is something that should be reviewed. This was an unfortunate accident with no malice or ill intent towards the occupants of the vehicle. Thankfully no one was injured in this event.
It’s always worked for me. I remember the last time I shot at a car. I just told the cops I was “less than perfect,” and they nodded with understanding and let me go.
“This was an unfortunate accident with no malice or ill intent towards the occupants of the vehicle.”
I remember when intent mattered. Now, in Soviet America, it only matters if you’re the Police State.
“This was an unfortunate accident with no malice or ill intent towards the occupants of the vehicle.”
And here I thought one had to place booger hook on the bang switch and press it to fire a round. But you learn something everyday: As long as a negligent shooting doesn’t involve malice or ill intent, it’s okay. As long as the gun is in the hands of an LEO.

The chance of having an “accidental” discharge is extremely low. Most likely this was a negligent discharge. This will be proven in court by the plaintiffs in the civil law case brought against police department.
Ridiculous. Cops and their supporters can come up with all kinds of insane excuses for their (the police’s) idiotic behavior.
