Ohio Supreme Court Declares Themselves God

Via WoG, the Ohio Supreme Court has gotten pissed off at God and decided they would do better at the job.
The Ohio Supreme Court has proposed rule changes that would disarm and force those subject to a civil protection order to surrender firearms, ammunition, and concealed handgun license to law enforcement. This seizure would take place even if there is no “sufficient nexus,” specifically evidence that a firearm was threatened to be used, used, or brandished.
The Supreme Court drafts proposed rule changes. The proposed rule changes are put out for public comment.

The legislature wasn’t doing what the court wanted them to do, so they stepped in and make themselves the only sovereign potentate, the most high god. Able to calm the seas and change the winds.
Of course, there is always an answer for tyrants like this, and it involves oak trees and hemp rope.

Ironically, I think we’ll soon see the left start to ignore/defy SCOTUS rulings that they don’t like. They already defy the legislature/executive re: sanctuary cities. This just may be the spark that lights the civil war tinder that’s laying about, as they force Trump to be the “authoritarian dictator” that they portray him as.

A bench drafting proposed rules changes, outside of legislative (Representative consent) is a whole new level tyranny to me.
This is akin to a what a Central American despotic court would do. Anybody know any history on prior such instances of this in the US relating to gun rights or otherwise?

Backing up for minute, it’s of note that the new right is pretty high on denying equality. They cite Jefferson and make statements about it and blah blah, the which they know nothing about. This should be addressed by way of background and then on to the OH bench.
God is no respecter of persons. This is what is meant by equality. This is the idea that the framers meant to capture by way of admonishing our Judiciary and indeed all branches on the treatment of men equally. It’s also important that these words appearance both in the Old Testament and in the constitution are about a legal framework. Nobody, not God, not Madison, is talking about forced equality or equality of outcome relating to a person’s life outside of being judged for a crime.
All men ARE created equal in the eyes of god with respect to treatment by you and your fellows in the courts of law and the making of legislation. Madison and Jefferson were very well aware of the biblical sources of this. Remember, if a law can be used, it can used against you too.
Now, the OH bench. This is why equality under law is critical to western jurisprudence. And this is why, I reckon, Mr. Smith indicates that the court thinks that it is god. What the courts have proposed is indeed a usurpation of God’s authority and a violation of at least federal law under the constitution and I suspect, as most states are, the OH constitution, which is very likely somewhat modeled upon the federal one and would also have similar language to the fedgov. The courts, and the several legislatures where this has been enacted have indeed created dis-equality by way of the law, a crime, and rightly so because it’s a sin against the LORD.
The reasons, in your gut, that you know what the court is proposing is wrong, is the Natural Law God screaming at you. Listen to Him.
Not only that, they may very well be coming against the least of men. Those that are unable to form a cogent defense, are hurting in the soul and are in need of help. And they are working under the guise of goodness and hiding behind the rules of men. But isn’t this how satan and his operatives work? Man oh man, will this piss off God. Standby.
Read those versus above again. This is why a Christian Civilization can stand, and this why our rapidly turning away from God is to our ruination. Guess how many American Churches in OH, FL, and CA will preach on these sins by their presumed government masters this coming Sunday? Zero! And civilization falls.
No man can keep the entire Law. It is not unto salvation for sin. Only the LORD can save your wicked being from burning. No man, Old Testament or New nor any future state nor past or future people group (are you listening John Hagee?), gets a free pass and is ushered into the presence of Holy God, without first submitting to the will of our LORD and repenting. This is the completion of the Law which Christ Jesus has fulfilled.
The OH court should repent of the LORD and seek his name, the only name unto Heaven which can save, the name of the Son of God, Christ Jesus.
And if not? The American people have every right to burn the court to the ground and see to it that every last one of them be hanged from the neck until dead thus preserving God’s equality under the law for all men.
*(Jehoshaphat was a civil ruler appointed by God to carry out his office. A Prophet of the LORD gave him the charge to implement what is quoted in the versus above. It is the Law of God.)
