Maryland Kills Its First Red Flag Gun Confiscation Victim

Via Fred Tippens, news from Maryland:

FERNDALE (WBFF) — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred Monday morning in Ferndale.

Police spokesman Jacklyn Davis said officers responded to 103 Linwood Avenue at around 5:15 a.m. to serve an “emergency risk protective order,” also known as the red flag order.

Police say Gary J. Willis, who was the subject of the Extreme Risk Protective Order and the Emergency Petition, answered the door armed with a handgun.

When officers began to serve Willis with the order, he became irate, opened the door to the residence and grabbed the gun according to police. They say, an attempt was made by an officer to take the gun away from Willis when Willis fired the gun.

A second officer fired their service weapon, striking Willis, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Davis says no Anne Arundel County officers were injured in the struggle. The suspect was pronounced dead on scene.

Gun Confiscation IS happening. Read that sentence again and listen carefully to your internal dialog. What’s going through you mind? Can’t happen here? Can’t happen to me? Well, it’s just a few “crazy” people. I don’t live in that state. I support the police? I support Trump? This line of thought is dangerous to the point of terminal naiveté. Any thinking man already knows that these self-made excuses are foolish.

More than 150 people have already been Red Flagged in Florida alone. The Christians and the Jews didn’t believe it could happen to them to the point where they got onto the rail cars under their own strength. The interviews with survivors are astonishing. They still couldn’t believe what was right in front of them even as their neighbors got hauled off by the SS.

Don’t care about the Jews? That’s fine because Honey, this time it’s about YOU.

Back in America; first they’re coming for the “crazy” gun owner. Then they’ll come for…who? Who’s next, the Gab Nazis? Then who? Then who after that?

Here is the back and forth that took place on live TV after the Parkland, Florida shooting: “Allow due process so no one’s rights are trampled, but the ability to go to court, obtain an order and then collect not only the firearms but any weapons,” Mike Pence, said. “Or, Mike, take the firearms first, and then go to court,” President Trump responded. And later; “Take the guns first, go through due process second,” – President Trump.

That conversation happened with Democrat leadership in the room. It kicked off a furious round of legislative action across the nation to accomplish the passage of “Red Flag” laws. There is broad bi-partisan support for these laws. There is no third party. At least 16 states have legislatively taken steps toward legalizing Gun Confiscation without evidence of a crime. The NRA has not objected to this, at all, and has been supportive of it, why?

    Check your internal dialog again.

This isn’t about blame, this is about getting you to realize that it IS HAPPENING, right here in America. In Maryland and in California and the rest of the Left Coast we shouldn’t be surprised I suppose, but you should be alarmed, very alarmed. But that’s not all, it’s happening in Indiana, a Red State. Many more states have these laws or are working on them with several quietly passing similar legislation but are not acting upon them…yet.

The Right has initiated this idea, and the NRA doesn’t object, and the Left starts to implement it. There is no third party. And the police enforce it, by summary execution if you don’t comply? The courts have fully approved this post Patriot Act methodology. To where do you turn for relief?

Maybe Christians are crazy with their sky God? Maybe conspiracy theorists are a danger? Maybe you are the problem, maybe you’re the terrorist? Whites are dangerous? Why the push to get medical and physiological ‘doctors’ involved in evaluating gun owners? Does any of this register on your internal dialog BS meter because that’s where this is headed.

These laws rely upon neighbor turning against neighbor. The division that’s been sewn over decades is now starting feed on itself. This is not an accident. It’s not happening in a vacuum. Those that run the power structure are not dumb. This is what the Soviets and the Nazis did and now it’s what the Americans are doing.

Police come to a man’s home, kill him, and take his guns. How is this different from Stalin? How? By God’s Law, Trump, all the way down to the local cop has this blood on their hands. Is this what Western Civilization is, now again in the twenty first century?

    Gun confiscation IS happening.

Numbers. How many Gun Confiscations have happened under these “laws” versus Number of Gun Owners? Insignificant, when compared to the Numbers of Guns Confiscated due to actual Arrests, I would guess…

Now, HOW MANY Gun confiscations are the thugpig ‘agencies’ Capable of Confiscating on any given Day? Times 365 Days? Versus How Many New Guns are sold Every Day?

What Percentage of the Hundreds of Millions of Guns out there Can be Confiscated, by Any Means, under Any Pretense, compared to that Total Number? Incrementalism is obviously (((their))) Plan, but has Anyone done the Math?

And most Importantly, What Happens when persons OTHER than the Immediate Individual being ‘targeted’ start Returning Fire?

Gryphon, you want numbers? I know this isn’t your point, but we have some for Florida. From mid-March when their Red Flag law went into effect, to July 27th, 467 “risk protection cases” were filed. Pinellas country, not even the one that filed the most, which would be Broward with 88 as of early July, filed 64 and confiscated “about” 200 firearms and “around” 30,000 rounds of ammo.

Have very mixed feelings about Rick Scott defeating Bill Nelson in the Senate race by a hair, 0.38%. Bet it would have been at a larger, and cheaper margin (opportunity costs means that could have cost some other Republican their seat) if Scott hadn’t had such a record of active gun grabbing.
