Question regarding the battle launch point(s) "from a mosque and a nearby village." My local paper indicated two mosques, not one mosque. The mosques from which the attack was initiated were on the opposite side of the hill from the primary target. Is this true?

Dear Mr. Smith:

" But what the doctrine doesn’t mention is that force projection is the necessary pre-condition for any of that other doctrine to obtain. The population will not ally with the weaker side, and not only are heavy kinetics necessary up front in any such campaign..."

You Sir, will burnt at the stake for such heresey.

"The population will not ally with the weaker side "Exactly. Disregarding for a mnute the military aspects, just who in Afghanistan would be foolish enough to ally themselves with us when the pronouncements from the White House are so wishy washy.

While the new population friendly rules sound like a good idea you have to look at how we got here - Actual civilian casualties, or effecive Black Propaganda. We lost the information war and this is where we are.
