		<description>Amen to that, when we assumed that we could turn our backs on the south and hand it over to a security assistance force that was not intended for robust COIN, we made the greatest error of the war.  IN RC-E where first 10th Mountain, then the 82nd, and, now, the 101st run the show we&#039;ve given the world a lesson in how COIN is done.  The Marines, with their matchless experience from Iraq, are doing the same in the south.  Even David Kilkullen has learned a great deal by visiting to see what the US has achieved in the east.  Hopefully we will now see this replicated in the south.  I just hope that US forces will take over the whole of RC-S and parts of RC W in time to be in place for nest spring.</description>
