		<description>&lt;i&gt;The idea is that NATO and the U.S. leave Afghanistan or violence will continue against the Pakistani government.&lt;/i&gt;  That&#039;s blackmail against a third party - where&#039;s Pakistan in these negotiations?  The &quot;militants&quot; are going to continue doing what they do anyhow.
Go ahead and gather them all for a meeting...get them all in one place...</description>

		<description>The NWFP seems to be caught in one hand (the left hand) of the great two handed dragon, a dragon which no single country controls. It&#039;s left hand is the international drug market, and its right hand is energy resources. 

If drugs were legalized the world over, many of us believe we could keep ourselves, our children, and grand children off the addictive processes. We would only cut one hand off the ferocious dragon however, the right hand however is dominated by established markets where we do exchange our dollars for oil in an otherwise (still) peaceful and civilized form of exchange.

Would the net result benefit mankind, is the question?
