By no means am I saying ditch body armor, but here's something that keeps it in perspective. Less than 1 percent of the time it helps; 100 percent of the time it's heavy, bulky, and turns warm weather into blazing hot weather. Something to ponder for those who want to turn individual servicemen into M-1 tanks.
